Parallel World Diego (並行世界から来たディエゴ, Heikō Sekai kara Kita Diego), along with THE WORLD, was confirmed for All-Star Battle R as the fourth paid DLC character on May 31, 2023.[1] He is slated for release on June 16, 2023, or June 14 for season pass owners.[2] Like the first three paid DLC characters, he is included in the game's first season pass, and consequently the Digital Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition as well.[1]
As in Eyes of Heaven, Parallel Diego's name is localized as "Alternate World Diego" in the English localization of All-Star Battle R. Furthermore, THE WORLD's name is fully capitalized, differentiating it from DIO's version of The World.
His moveset is similar to that of his Eyes of Heaven appearance, with modifications made and new aspects added to better fit in with All-Star Battle R's different gameplay style.
As the voice actor for Parallel World Diego, among other iterations of Dio Brando, since Eyes of Heaven, Takehito Koyasu reprises his role in All-Star Battle R as well. As with the majority of the game's roster, voice lines for Parallel World Diego were either added or re-recorded.
Parallel World Diego has 920 health and uses the both the Mounted (騎乗, Kijō) and Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Styles, fighting foes with Silver Bullet and THE WORLD. During a fight, he can use several different attacks that were featured in Steel Ball Run. Unlike most other characters that use the Stand Battle Style, Parallel World Diego cannot manually summon and dismiss his Stand; instead, the Stand remains active as long as the user is dismounted, and appears instantaneously for any attacks that utilize it while the user is mounted.
Three parts of the Holy Corpse will slowly appear scattered across the stage when Parallel World Diego is a combatant. He can pick up these pieces to receive blessings that boost his performance in combat. If Parallel World Diego is pitted against Johnny Joestar, Gyro Zeppeli, Diego Brando, Funny Valentine, or another Parallel World Diego, both players will have to fight over the three Corpse Parts, as only one set will appear.
Parallel World Diego can summon his horse, Silver Bullet, to mount it, or dismount and send it away, shifting his movement and available abilities. Silver Bullet improves his basic mobility, attack range, and power. However, he loses the ability to Stylish Guard and will be forcibly dismounted if he is hit by a move that hard knockdowns. Parallel Diego's Guard Gauge will not recover while he is Mounted unless he is in possession of three Holy Corpse parts. If the Style input () is chained from normals while unmounted, 'Quick Mount' is triggered at the cost of Heart Heat, whereby Parallel Diego mounts Silver Bullet much faster, and the act of flipping onto his horse can knock the opponent into the air. This provides an easy and quicker method of mounting as well as transitioning Parallel Diego's unmounted combo into a mounted one.

If Parallel Diego has a minimum of one and a half stocks of the Heart Heat Gauge, he can use his signature Stand ability "THE WORLD!". If the activating three-second animation plays uninterrupted, Parallel Diego will stop time for 3.4 ~ 6.9 seconds depending on how much of the HHG he has. All animations, including the HHG flame and the countdown on the battle timer, will temporarily cease, and the opponent in frozen in place and completely unable to act. Damage dealt to the opponent that is not a Throw, HHA, or GHA is reduced, but the opponent is otherwise absolutely vulnerable. When the ability ends and time resumes, the opponent will suffer all damage dealt to them at once. Any knives thrown using "I'll skewer you!" hang in the air.
Parallel Diego may use his HHA or GHA with impunity if he has enough of the HHG left to do so. He is even capable of hitting opponents that were down when the ability was activated, 'resetting' them into a standing position once hit. The ability is best used with normal attacks in mind in order to deal the most damage within the stopped time, as they execute quickly and their damage reduction within stopped time is insubstantial.
If fighting against other Time Stop users, Parallel Diego can use this ability to move within the other fighter's stopped time, and may even outlast his opponent if their HHG runs out first.
Holy Corpse

Parallel Diego receives a new blessing for every Holy Corpse Part he holds, but if successfully knocked down, drops the part and loses said blessing.
Movement speed is increased while in User Mode.
Two gasoline traps set by "My trial is to conquer and kill at all costs." can be deployed simultaneously.
The Guard Gauge's recovery speed is increased and Parallel Diego can now recover Guard Gauge while Mounted.
Rumble Mode (ゴゴゴモード, Gogogo Mōdo)
Activates when under 30% health
This mode is automatically activated once Parallel Diego falls bellow 30% health. It increases his attack power, as well as the rate at which the Heart Heat Gauge rises, while also decreasing the rate at which the Guard Guage drops.

Parallel Diego throws a can of gasoline, with it spilling across the ground once it hits it. The distance the can travels increases in order, but as does vulnerability. The puddle of gasoline will disappear either after it hits an opponent or after a set period of time. While this skill deals no damage, if the opponent is hit by the projectile or the puddle of gasoline left on the ground, they become inflicted with Gasoline. They can rid themselves of the effect if they hit Parallel Diego, otherwise the effect will end after a period of time.

Parallel Diego throws a spread of lit matches while leaping backwards. The number of matches and the distance Parallel Diego leaps backward increases in order. If a match hits the opponent while they are inflicted with Gasoline, it explodes, sending the opponent flying. If they are guarding when they are hit, it reduces the Guard Gauge more than usual. Parallel Diego can also be damaged by the explosion.

While this effect is active, Parallel Diego will not gain any Heart Heat. This effect can also be prematurely ended if Parallel Diego switches into User Mode, performs the input again, or uses an HHA/GHA.

Parallel Diego then announces that time will resume as he fires the bullet. As the bullet flies through the air, THE WORLD throws a punch. Both attacks hit the opponent at the same time, sending them flying.

A character in Part 7: Steel Ball Run. He is an alternate version of Diego Brando brought from another world by Valentine, and the user of the StandTHE WORLD. Having been informed about the infinite rotation from Valentine before his death, the jockey meticulously arranges a plan to overwhelm Johnny in the battle for the corpse. He can also be cold-blooded, even going so far as to use civilians as shields to evade attacks.
User of the Stand THE WORLD. An alternate version of Diego Brando brought by Valentine from another world. Valentine informed him about the Infinite Spin. His devious schemes caused great difficulty for Johnny in the battle for the corpse. He can be cold-blooded, even going so far as to use civilians as shields to evade attacks.
