Heavy Weather, Part 4 (ヘビー・ウェザー その④, Hebī Wezā Sono 4), originally Prejudice (しきたり, Shikitari) in the WSJ release, is the 128th chapter of Stone Ocean and the 722nd chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary
In a café, Perla Pucci was eyeing a good-looking delivery boy with her friends when a pickpocket suddenly stole Perla's handbag then tried to run away. The delivery boy intervened, throwing two cans through a window and knocking out the thief. It was how Perla and Wes Bluemarine met and engaged in a romantic relationship.
At the same time, Enrico Pucci had been pondering on his twin brother and what he should do, since he wanted to protect the privacy of the mother's confession. However, when Perla told Enrico about her relationship with Wes, Enrico soon discovered that Wes was his twin brother. Determined to end this incestuous relationship without hurting his dear sister, Enrico paid a private eye to break the couple up. Unfortunately, said detective was part of a white supremacist organization which was against interracial couples. Believing wrongly that Wes was a mixed-blood due to the mother's past relationship, the detective and a mob beat Wes up in front of Perla, revealed that they already killed Wes's mother and burned her house down, then lynched him. Heartbroken, Perla threw herself down a cliff into a lake, not knowing that Wes still had a faint pulse.
