Bastet (バステト女神, Basuteto-joshin, lit. "Goddess Bastet") is the Stand of Mariah, featured in the third part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stardust Crusaders. It is also a member of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods, a group of Stands representing ancient Egyptian gods.
The Stand takes on the innocuous appearance of an electrical outlet, but once touched, the victim is cursed to bear an ever-increasing magnetic force within their body.
Appearance

Bastet is an outlet-shaped Stand with a cable visible underneath it that can be placed onto any surface.
It represents the Egyptian goddess of protection, Bastet, and is the fourth of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods.
Color Schemes
Abilities
Bastet is designed to turn people's curiosity against them. It has no direct combat ability whatsoever and no use besides trapping victims, forcing Mariah to wait until her victims die alone. On the other hand, it is suited for assassination because unless Mariah exposes herself, there is no way to catch on to her.
Magnetic Attraction
When a person touches the outlet, they will be shocked[2] and become a magnet that attracts nearby metallic objects.[3]
The magnetic force will gradually become stronger, to the point where objects attracted to the person will either crush by dint of mass or simply impale them, and if at first only small metallic objects will be influenced,[3] the magnetism can increase to the point where objects as massive as cars will be attracted.[4]
Additionally, more than one person can be placed under the same "magnetic curse". Multiple people under the same magnetic attraction will even be attracted towards each other.[5]
A drawback of this Stand's ability is that Mariah must maintain a certain distance from her target or the magnetism will wear off.[6]
