Egypt (エジプト, Ejiputo) is a major location featured in the third part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Stardust Crusaders. It is where DIO was hiding until the Joestar Group became aware of his revival and sought out to destroy him.[1] It is also the home of Muhammad Avdol as well as a few other characters.
Some of the history of the country is shared through the short-story Iggy the Stray Dog.
Summary
Egypt is a large country in northeast corner of Africa that is connected to the Middle East by the Sinai Peninsula. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and has an approximate area of 1,010 km² as well as a population of just over 100 million people.[2]
During the events of Stardust Crusaders the country serves as the hideout for DIO and his minions.
Sometime in the mid 1980s a secretive young man in an archelolgical excavation of the country found some buried arrows that he sold to an old woman named Enya Geil. This woman then turned to DIO and unleahed the Stand manifesting powers of them.
In the Steel Ball Run universe, the coutry is home to Urmd Avdul, who crosses the Sahara Desert on camel-back three times anually.[3]
