A frog (カエル kaeru) that appears in the first part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Phantom Blood. It makes the onomatopoeia "Memetaa!" when Will Anthonio Zeppeli punches it to first demonstrate the power of the Ripple to Jonathan Joestar.
While explaining Sendo, Zeppeli brings Jonathan and Erina to a small river and directs their attention to a frog sitting on a rock. Zeppeli walks into the shallow river and takes a deep breath as energy begins to form around his feet, and unusual ripples in the water begin to emanate from where he stands.
Zeppeli explains that the ripples on the water are similar to how breathing makes ripples in the body. Using this ripple, one can create an energy called the Ripple that can be transferred to other objects. With that said, Zeppeli suddenly throws his fist towards the frog and lands a direct blow to its back. Jonathan and Erina are surprised as the strike splits the rock the frog was sitting on down the middle, yet the frog remains completely unharmed. Zeppeli's energy had transferred as ripples through the body of the frog and crushed the rock instead.
Steel Ball Run
In chapter 8 of Phantom Blood Game the frog appears in a cutscene of Zeppeli demonstrating the power of Ripple to Jonathan and Erina by punching a frog, which splits rock that the frog was on top leaving it unharmed.

In Stardust Shooters, frogs are special medals that can't be used in battle and don't have abilities. Their main usage is for feeding other medals, with the experience given depending on the rarity.
Diamond Records (Android/iOS)
In Diamond Records, the frog has a few minor appearances. It appears in the pose of Zeppeli's 5 and 6-star statues, and also appears as a decoration in towns. The frog also appears on the in-game update download screen, in a minigame based on Zeppeli's ripple demonstration.
