A cruiser found off the coast of the Canary Islands, on the Atlantic Ocean. It is here that, 100 years ago, the Vampire DIO was imprisoned at the bottom of the ocean. A group of treasure hunters retrieve the coffin in which DIO was stuck and free the Vampire.

Narita New Tokyo International Airport (成田新東京国際空港, Narita Shin Tōkyō Kokusai Kūkō)
It was renamed to the Narita International Airport in 2004. One of Tokyo's main airports and where Joseph Joestar and Muhammad Avdol arrive first when they go to Japan. They meet Holy Kujo there.

An ordinary japanese nurse's office. It is the location of Jotaro's battle against Kakyoin.

Cairo (القاهرة, al-Qāhirah), the capital of Egypt. It is the end goal of the heroes, as it is the city where DIO resides in his mansion. Cairo is a sprawling city of 2,000,000 habitants at the time of the story and a long history, with labyrinthine streets and unique local customs. It is also the home of Muhammad Avdol. It is the theater of several battles, notably Jotaro Kujo against DIO.

A fortune telling shop owned by Muhammad Avdol. It's located in Khan Khalili, a famous bazaar district in Cairo.

Hong Kong a then British colony in 1988 but with a local Chinese population. It is one of the most developed cities in Asia.

Tiger Balm Garden is a public park near Causeway Bay in Hong Kong. It was created by Aw Boon Haw in 1935, after he became a millionaire selling his curative Tiger Balm. The bright colors and unreal carved animals make it a popular tourist attraction spot. It becomes the location of the battle between Muhammad Avdol and Jean Pierre Polnareff.

Singapore, a sovereign city-state and island situated right in the middle of South-Asia. It is one of the richest and most developed cities in Asia.
A luxurious Singaporian hotel, seemingly based on the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, where the Joestar Group decides to rest. However, Devo the Cursed attacks Jean Pierre Polnareff in his room.

Calcutta is the cultural capital of India. It has a population of over 11 million people, though more than 2 million are homeless. The 19th century British referred to it as one of the "worst places in the world". The city was officially renamed to Kolkata in 2001. It is a very active city ridden with beggars, thieves and filth, which shocks most of the Joestar Group. Jean Pierre Polnareff encounters Hol Horse and J. Geil there.

A restaurant in which the Joestar Group decides to have lunch. Equipped with a pig pen toilet that has been built too low so the pigs occasionally stick their head out of the toilet bowl. Jean Pierre Polnareff first sees Hanged Man in here. Humorously, it is named "Gaylord" in the OVA adaptation.

The outskirts of Calcutta, an underdeveloped area where beggars dwell in old Indian ruins. Hol Horse and J. Geil meet there to plot their attack on the Joestar Group and it is also there that Jean Pierre Polnareff and Noriaki Kakyoin fight J. Geil.

A crowded pedestrian shopping area in Calcutta. It is precisely there that Jean Pierre Polnareff encounters Hol Horse and begins to fight with him. It is also there that Muhammad Avdol is seemingly killed by J. Geil and Hol Horse.
A holy Indian city along the river Ganges, also known as Benares. Home to fakirs and where religious rituals are a common sight. It is said that one can remain in this city for months without getting bored. Joseph Joestar has to fight Empress in the streets of Benares.

A foggy city in Pakistan, where the inhabitants are unusually gloomy, unfriendly, apathetic, etc. It is in fact a cemetery that Enya the Hag disguises as a town thanks to the illusion powers of Justice. In the OVA adaptation, it is situated in Arabia.

When Enya the Hag meets the Joestar Group, she pretends to be a hotel owner and invites the heroes to sleep there. At first glance, it seems like a simple hotel. However, it is a mere illusion. Jotaro Kujo fights Enya the Hag here.
The largest city in Pakistan. Steely Dan confronts the Joestar Group there and the action is dispersed in the streets and shops of the city.
Abu Dhabi (أَبُو ظَبِي, ʾAbū Ẓabī), capital of the United Arab Emirates. Once a small desertic country, it became rich thanks to oil. Abu Dhabi becomes a prosperous city where every house is a manor and the city can afford to have decorative plants everywhere despite the climate.

Yarpline is a small village in the United Arab Emirates. The Joestar Group goes there to purchase a plane.
The Arabian desert, complete with the scorching sun a vast seas of dunes. The Joestar Group try to fly across the desert but Death Thirteen attacks them during their travel, resulting in a crash. However, Noriaki Kakyoin defeats the baby Mannish Boy.

The Red Sea, the clearest most beautiful sea in the world according to all divers. Home to an impressive fauna. The Red Sea is named as such because of its coasts of red deserts. Without any city to pollute, it is an ecosystem that has kept its beauty. The Joestar Group try to cross it via a submarine, but High Priestess attacks and sinks the submarine, forcing the group to go scuba diving instead.

An island in the middle of the red sea. Supposedly where Muhammad Avdol's father lives, but it is a ruse. There is nonetheless a house there with chickens. It is there that Judgement tricks Jean Pierre Polnareff, and where Muhammad Avdol makes his return.

Joseph's house, a luxurious apartment situated in the middle of Manhattan, New York.

The Egyptian desert. More dunes and rocky formations. It is there that the Joestar Group meets Iggy, and where N'Doul attacks them with his Geb. Jotaro Kujo defeats him.

Aswan (أسوان, ʾAswān), a city in the south of Egypt and famous tourist spot for its monuments. The area was once known as Nubia and it is there that the Aswan barrage was built in 1971. It is also there that Noriaki Kakyoin is treated and where Oingo and Boingo try to assassinate the Joestar Group.
The Nile River, one of the world's longest rivers and historically known as the main artery of Egypt. The Joestar Group navigates upward the Nile to reach Cairo and find DIO.
Temple of Kom Ombo (Egyptian Arabic:معبد كوم أمبو, Coptic: ⲙ̄ⲃⲱ əmbō or ⲛ̄ⲃⲱ ənbō) An ancient Egyptian temple on the banks of the Niles. It is there that Chaka, controlled by Anubis, challenges Jean Pierre Polnareff.
Edfu (إدفو, ˈʔedfu) is a city in Southern Egypt. It is there that Jotaro Kujo and Jean Pierre Polnareff fight Anubis again, and where Anubis is finally defeated.

Luxor (الأقصر, al-ʾuqṣur), a city situated near the famous "Valley of the Kings", where many a pharaoh's tomb has been built. It is said that its inhabitant still dig to try to find ancient treasures. It is where Mariah fights Joseph Joestar and Muhammad Avdol, and where Alessi tries to assassinate Jean Pierre Polnareff.

Malèna's house in Luxor. It is here that Alessi attacks a young Jean Pierre Polnareff a second time.

Giza (الجيزة, al-Jīzah), the third largest city in Egypt, famous for its archaeological sites and history. The Joestar Group encounters Daniel J. D'Arby there when he challenges them to several games.
Anime Debut: Stardust Crusaders Episode 36: Hol Horse and Boingo, Part 1
A hotel located en route to Egypt. The Joestar Group stop there along the way to Cairo. It becomes a trap for the group due to Dija Maker controlling the hotel staff and the building itself with his Stand, House of Holy. It acts as the main location to escape from for the story made for the Escape from JoJo's Bizarre Mansion escape room.
