Summary

Soaking wet, Maxx wanders down the prison hallway in search of something to drink. He decides to head to the chapel to look for the "body" that Whitesnake ordered him to find. Maxx first heads over to one of his girls to relax before filling out his mission; h tries to bribe the guard, but the latter ignores Maxx. Maxx talks to the girl, placing his hands on her in the process, upsetting her as she knees a nearby inmate in the chest. She yells at him for touching her without paying, but the inmate has no idea what she is talking about. Maxx beats him up for the girl.

Ermes examines the pipe that Maxx crawled out of, and finds hand prints on the side. F.F. asks Ermes about Limp Bizkit's ability while she puts her leg back together. Ermes explains he is able to create invisible zombies, telling Jolyne that she suspects that Maxx might be connected to Whitesnake. Due to the lack of a corpse, the three deduce that Maxx is now an invisible zombie.

Maxx continues to assault the inmate, unaware of his fate; because Maxx is invisible, the girl can neither see nor hear him. Maxx flips the inmate onto his head and undresses him in search of money. The girl continues to watch as Maxx pulls out a syringe and inserts it into himself. Doing so causes multiple holes to appear in his arm with sewer water pouring out. Sewage begins pouring out of Maxx's orifices. In fear, the girl tries to run away, but Maxx catches her and eats her brain. He realizes he isn't thirsty, but simply hungering brains. He remembers that he had drowned and swears vengeance against Ermes. Jolyne and Ermes search for Maxx, and stumble upon the girl's corpse. A gate behind them closes, and Jolyne readies Stone Free.
