JoJolion - Chapter 102
Endless Calamity, Part 8 (終わりなき厄災 その⑧, Owari Naki Yakusai Sono 8) is the one hundred second chapter of JoJolion and the nine hundred forty-ninth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary
As a young girl, Yasuho's mother brought her to a summer camp, despite Yasuho's protests. When she arrives, she is teased and taunted by the other children. She later tries to use a firestarter, but accidentally cuts her finger, leading to the other children making fun of her. As she is sitting alone, she hears a clicking sound, and turns around to see a hooded man sitting behind her. He has two rocks, and tells her that scraping them together will make a fire. Wary, Yasuho asks him if he goes to the camp as well, to which the man replies that he is lost. The man asks her if she could find a person for him using her phone. Despite not knowing their name, he knows 4 things about them: they are elderly, they once had a license to practice medicine, they're currently in a nursing home, and they are not close with their family. Yasuho searches on her phone, easily bringing up search results for 8 people. She shows the man, with the closest person fitting the description being a man named Satoru Akefu. The hooded man says he has "found his way", and thanks Yasuho by giving her the rocks, before vanishing into the woods, saying he hopes they meet again someday when she is older.
