Hello! こんにちは!¡Bienvenido! Hallo! مرحب! Salve! Merhaba!
I'm Kojo, an expat from a few different countries. On this wiki, I mostly just edit whatever interests me, which tends to be the game pages. I also use my love of programming to help with templates where useful. Otherwise, I have many other passions (despite my procrastinative habits), and even manage another wiki: JoJo's Bizarre Modding Wiki.
I currently have a measly 7,768 edits on this wiki.
About me
My real name is, although not fully, Kojo Bailey. The name "Kojo" comes from the Fante people of Ghana , simply given to boys born on Monday; and although Ghanaians tend to have multiple names besides just this one, Kojo is my only name. The surname "Bailey" isn't particularly special, but the combination of "Kojo" and "Bailey" together is quite unique, as a quick Google search will prove.
I was born in Liverpool and have since lived in many different countries, including:
- England
- Malaysia
- Vietnam
- La Palma (Las Canarias)
- Ireland
- Qatar
My heritage is also mixed, being English-Irish-Ghanaian-German, although I can't say I have much of any contact with my German roots as my German grandmother was an anglophile. Therefore, I'm unfortunately only a native speaker of English, but am learning Spanish and Japanese, as well as many other languages less seriously, including Chinese and Italian.
One thing I've noticed about myself, is that when I'm genuinely interested in something, I can become incredibly invested in it. This is how I came to edit for the JoJoWiki, being a huge JoJo fan, and I've considered looking deeper into the communities of my other interests. However, despite how much people (and ourselves) say otherwise, the JoJo community really is one of the best fandoms out there.
I have many "hobbies", although I hesitate to call them so as they are all things I would like to pursue in my future. When I become invested in something, I tend to put a lot of time and focus into it, which is how I came to edit for JJBE, and my current main interest is in the modding of JoJo videogames - none of which is particularly supporting my performance in school unfortunately...
I am currently 18, and am going into my 2nd year for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which is apparently said to be one of the hardest highschool graduation courses in the world. Afterwards, I plan to study computer science in university and land some kind of job in software engineering - but really, I just want to find the financial stability to properly pursue my passions for the rest of my life, and support others in the process.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
I only started watching the Phantom Blood anime in early 2020, but am currently up to date with the latest Stone Ocean anime. I can't remember what even inspired me to start watching JoJo, but I was hooked as soon as I did. The artstyle and 3D opening were nothing like I'd ever seen before in an anime. Phantom Blood only being 9 episodes allowed me to get a sense for what the series would hold, and once Joseph Joestar showed up in Battle Tendency, it was full speed ahead.
Despite watching the anime first, I greatly prefer manga, in black and white too. My brother decided to buy all the available JoJo English manga on his Kindle, which I read all the way through – stopping at Volume 4 of Vento Aureo. Since then, I've gone on to read JoJo's Colored Adventure: Steel Ball Run digitally, and have bought many volumes (of different languages) physically, including TSKR. I am currently reading JoJolion, and afterwards plan to read through the Stone Ocean manga. Hopefully I can finish JJL before a lot of The JOJOLands is out.
However, at the moment, my biggest interaction with the series has to be the videogames, and I adore each one for the passion and thought put into them. I still mess around with All-Star Battle R daily for the sake of modding, and also own the discs for All-Star Battle and Eyes of Heaven, which respectively contributed to my decisions to buy both a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Besides the CyberConnect2 videogames, I've only played a bit of emulated Capcom Fighters and Last Survivor. I do plan on playing GioGio's Bizarre Adventure soon though.
Modding
One of my biggest hobbies currently is the modding of videogames - in particular, All-Star Battle R. This craze began shortly after the game released, and since then, I've rose to become an administrator of JoJo's Bizarre Modding Community on Discord and the creator of JoJo's Bizarre Modding Wiki on Miraheze. You can find most of my mods on Nexus Mods, and I've modded more than just ASBR, like Plants vs. Zombies.
Other Anime/Shows
Outside of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I've watched/read quite a few anime/manga. The ones that stick out to me the most are:
- Death Note - Anime + Manga + L: Change the World light novel
- One Punch Man - Anime + Manga
- Demon Slayer - Anime-only
- Attack on Titan - Anime + 1 volume of manga
- Attack on Titan Junior High - Manga-only
- Mob Psycho 100 - Some of the anime
- Assassination Classroom - Most of the manga
- One Piece - Some of the manga
Personally, I'd say I prefer manga over anime in most instances, especially for more complicated, less action-packed series like Death Note. Therefore, I typically enjoy watching the anime for the opposite, such as Demon Slayer. That being said, some manga are simply incredible (and way ahead of the anime), like in the instance of One Punch Man. Despite my preferences, I have a deep appreciation for both manga and anime, unless one of the mediums is notoriously bad.
I'm also a huge Whovian, and was a pretty avid reader of the Alex Rider series. If I was to nominate a fiction book - that isn't a manga - as my favourite, it would either be Ready Player One or its sequel, Ready Player Two, both by Ernest Cline. For non-fiction, it has to be 'Doctor Who: The Writer's Tale' for the interactions between Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook.
I'm also big on gaming, with strong interest in game development (as an extension of software development). The videogames or videogame franchises I most follow nowadays are:
- Plants vs Zombies - since 2010, mostly involved with PvZ1 and PvZ Heroes.
- Brawl Stars - since 2018, still playing frequently to this day.
- Mortal Kombat - since 2023, currently own MK9 and MKX, and keep up-to-date with MK1.
Other games I revisit from time to time are Terraria and the Super Smash Bros. series.

Favourites
Whether it be personality, backstory, character arc, or some other magic element, these are my favourite characters across the series (including TSKR). Note that I am yet to finish JoJolion.
Characters are ordered from more (left/top) to less (right/bottom) favourite.
What I look for in a Stand is its design, connection to its user, and – of course – ability.
Stands are ordered from more (left/top) to less (right/bottom) favourite.
My ranking of the JoJo Parts, excluding JoJolion since I haven't yet finished reading it.
Note that I like all the Parts (although some are more flawed than others).
- Steel Ball Run
- Stardust Crusaders
- Battle Tendency
- Vento Aureo
- Phantom Blood
- Stone Ocean
- Diamond is Unbreakable
These opinions are currently outdated.
These refer to overall openings, rather than strictly opening themes.
Also, instead of choosing my favourites here, I've ranked them in order of best to worst (top to bottom). If it isn't obvious, I'm a sucker for the 3D openings.
