Places that fill me with a sense of history or nostalgia for the past really calm my heart, so I believe it's really important to take good care of such places. I'm totally sure of this, because the mere act of eating at the restaurant that The Artist Formerly Known as Prince once ate at was a very moving experience. (The food sucked, though)
However, in my home city, they moved the "temple villages" (graveyards) to the outskirts of the city and then built roads and apartments in their place. I think this is a serious issue.
