JoJolion - Chapter 11

This article is about the JoJolion chapter. For family trees, see Families.

Family Tree (家系図, Kakeizu), originally The Secret of the "SBR Race Complete Record" (『SBRレース全記録』の秘密, "Esu Bī Āru Rēsu Zen Kiroku" no Himitsu) in the UJ release, is the eleventh chapter of JoJolion and the eight hundred fifty-eighth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

A new morning begins at the Higashikata Family. Josuke wakes up and emerges from underneath his mattress. Out in the hallway, he meets Daiya, who asks him to take off her socks for her. He refuses and tells her to take them off herself; it is here that Norisuke suspects that something seems off.

Josuke goes to the bathroom, where he meets Hato and Joshu. Starting to grow stubble, he borrows Joshu's razor and shaves using Soft & Wet's bubbles. After leaving the restroom, the bubbles left in the bathroom pop leaving Hato and Joshu's faces covered in his hair as a result. Josuke then eats breakfast, during which Norisuke is confused to see Josuke not obeying Daiya's orders.

A flashback details the investigation Josuke conducted in the office upstairs with Daiya. Consulting the Steel Ball Run Complete Record by Norisuke Higashikata I, an ancestor of the Higashikata Family according to Daiya, Josuke reads about the Steel Ball Run race, its results, and the Higashikata family tree. Josuke notices the ties between the Higashikata family and the Joestar family because of the marriage between Johnny Joestar and Rina Higashikata, and that the Joestar family ends with Yoshikage Kira and his mother Holy Joestar-Kira. Josuke then tidies up the room and decides to investigate Holy Joestar-Kira, and more generally, the Higashikata family line.
