Vento Aureo - Chapter 146 [585]
Summary
Bruno Bucciarati, having died without regret and left grateful to Giorno for having met him, ascends to Heaven. Diavolo, back in his body and baffled at his failure, decides to temporarily retreat. However, upon hearing Trish warning Giorno that Diavolo will try to flee, and seeing Giorno holding the Arrow up in the air to stab himself, he feels humiliated and decides to confront Giorno head on. His confidence is moreover restored by a vision by Epitaph of Giorno failing to unlock Requiem.
Gold Experience stabs itself with the Arrow, but a huge hole appears in it and the Stand collapses, defenseless. Diavolo is overjoyed at Giorno's apparent failure, and King Crimson violently punches Gold Experience's face. This doesn't kill the Stand, but merely reveals something inside of it as its skin shatters like a shell.
