Yoshikage Kira
Yoshikage Kira (吉良 吉影, Kira Yoshikage) is a secondary antagonist featured in the light novel JORGE JOESTAR. He is an incarnation of the original Kira, living in the 37th universe.
Kira is a Japanese serial killer from Morioh who causes fifteen locked room murders. He wields the Stand Killer Queen, which also has the abilities Sheer Heart Attack and Bites the Dust.
Appearance
The 37th universe's Yoshikage Kira has short, light, neatly styled curtained hair with a slight wave. He has narrow eyes and thin eyebrows. Kira is dressed in a light suit with a collared striped shirt under it. His tie is covered in skull emblems with upright cat-like ears.
After disguising himself as Chien Kunimido, Kira has short black hair with bangs. His eyebrows are slightly thicker and he wears glasses. His outfit remains the same.
Personality
Yoshikage Kira is a 38-year-old man who is obsessive and has a deep desire for a peaceful life. His personality is defined by his fixation on maintaining order and cleanliness in his life, to the point of obsessively cleaning himself and discarding anything he perceives as "filthy."[4] This extreme cleanliness also manifests in his unnerving fascination with women's hands, which he collects as trophies to satisfy his dark compulsions.[1]
Despite his twisted behavior, Kira's primary goal is to live a quiet, unobtrusive life without attracting attention. He goes to extreme lengths to avoid detection, including using his Stand's powers to kill discreetly and erase any trails that may lead back to him. One of his Stand abilities, Bites the Dust, even allows him to turn people into bombs that detonate if they reveal his identity. Through Bites the Dust, he can rewind time by an hour, enabling him to live undisturbed. However, the nature of his Stand also means he has limited control over his own fate, as he cannot track the actions of his victims once he activates his powers.[5]
Kira's desire for a quiet life does not stop him from committing brutal crimes when he feels his peace is threatened. He is willing to eliminate anyone who disrupts his carefully constructed world, even if it means exploiting others to cover his tracks. After hearing about Jorge Joestar's detective cases, Kira causes fifteen locked room murders to occur by using Bites the Dust on random people and forcing them to commit the crimes, just to get across a message to warn Jorge to stay away from Morioh.[3] This careful, calculated approach makes Kira an intelligent and resourceful, yet profoundly disturbed individual. When he finds George Joestar and assumes he's the other Jorge, Kira enjoys cruelly torturing him, injuring both his face and body.[4]
When confronted by Kars, Kira's insecurities and dependence on Killer Queen are exposed. Kars recognizes Kira's reliance on his Stand to handle his problems, highlighting his laziness and lack of true ambition. Kars's words reveal Kira's internal struggle with his own self-worth, as he is shown to feel envious and resentful of his Stand's abilities, relying on it for his desired life instead of taking responsibility himself.[4]

Killer Queen
Like the original Kira, Killer Queen allows Kira to completely wipe out objects and people alike with targeted explosions. Its bombs can either trigger with a switch, or could explode on contact if someone touches them.[6]
Sheer Heart Attack
Sheer Heart Attack is a tank that detaches from Killer Queen's left hand. It operates automatically, tracking people via their heat signatures.[6]
Bites the Dust
Bites the Dust is an independent bomb that implants Killer Queen into a host body. If the host mentions Kira's name in any way or if anyone asks the host about Kira, Bites the Dust will trigger and blow themselves up as well as whoever heard the name. The moment it kills them, time rewinds by an hour, and whichever victim exploded would be fated to explode again.[6]
History
Background
Yoshikage Kira was born in 1974 rather than 1966 like his original counterpart. He worked quietly as a salaryman in the administrative department of an appliance company, and was eventually promoted to chief clerk.[1]
One day, a dog belonging to Shigetaka Yangu37 brought a woman's severed hand back to Shigechi. The hand had unusual nail polish allowing Koji Hirose37 and his friends to figure out where the nail polish was sold. Koji and Rohan almost caught him but Kira was overconfident that he could kill them and then escape. Kira took the time to explain his Stand name and power. Just before they almost died, Muryotaisu37 and Fukashigi Nijimura37 found Kira and Koji. They almost defeated Kira but he managed to get away, forcing Aya Tsuji37 to swap his face and fingerprints with a random passerby. Kira then killed Aya and the other man by turning them into bombs. He also killed Shigechi as a warning not to pursue him.[1]
Kira caused fifteen locked room murders to occur by manipulating random victims into killing people for him by using Bites the Dust. Each victim knew Kira's full name and remember him appearing in their dreams with a hat pulled over his eyes. He told them that when the police arrests them and asks about any dreams they had, then they should state that if Jorge Joestar ever comes to Morioh, Kira will kill him.[3]

Bites the Dust's Effects
In 2012, Jorge heads to Morioh anyways where he meets Rohan Kishibe37 at the Arrow Cross House. Jorge tries to ask if Rohan knows Kira, but suddenly couldn't remember Kira's name or finish his sentence. Rohan had used Heaven's Door on Jorge to prevent Jorge from remembering, because Bites the Dust was active on Rohan and saying his name would cause Jorge to explode. Fukashigi later exclaims that Jorge might actually be Kira when meeting Jorge at Rohan's house. As soon as he says Kira's name, Reimi Sugimoto37 seals Fukashigi's body in a dimension underneath the Arrow Cross House in a state between life and death, saving him from exploding. Reimi reveals that Rohan was also being hidden in the same dimension where Bites the Dust cannot explode, as there is no oxygen there. The Rohan that Jorge had been communicating with was an astral projection from Reimi's power.[7]
Detective Meeting
Kira panics after suddenly seeing a lot more detectives in Morioh and cancels the effect of Bites the Dust. Morioh suddenly detaches itself from Japan and moves on its own and Jorge wonders if Kira caused it with a mysterious power. Meanwhile, Chomaru Bariya and other detectives hold a live television conference. They declare that they know Kira is not responsible for the deaths of Sachiari Hakkyoku, Nekoneko Nyan Nyan Nyan, and Tsukumojuku Kato. They promise not to go after Kira since another mysterious killer was trying to frame him, so they ask that Kira cooperates by providing any information for their investigation.[1]
At some point, Kira uses Bites the Dust on Kosaku Kawajiri37 and brutally murders Shinobu37 and Hayato37.[6] On July 24, 2012, Kosaku and Diavolo? are lured to Arrow Cross House by Enrico Pucci37 who kills the two of them. Passione37 eventually finds their bodies, assuming that Kosaku's corpse belongs to Kira.[8]
Finding Chien Kunimido
Jorge and Kars decide that they'll need Kira's Bites the Dust ability to help them slowly go back in time to the original universe where Dio Brando had gone to. Jorge eventually realizes that Kira must have taken the identity of someone working in an election office, where there are lots of young, beautiful women wearing gloves. Their only lead is Chien Kunimido, the secretary of Morioh's mayor, Denta Shishimaru. Chien was nowhere to be found after Denta was kidnapped by Passione. Jorge informs Bruno Bucciarati37 to find Chien and they eventually find him in the basement of his home.
Disguised as Chien, Kira had blown up several detectives. He tortures George Joestar II to the brink of death. By the time Bucciarati and the others arrive at Chien's house, Kira apparently killed George already. Angered, Bucciarati threatens to kill Kira but Jorge37 warns him not to, as they need Kira's power. He has Bucciarati drop Kira through the hole in Cube House, which teleports Kira to Jorge. Kars lectures Kira about how he could never wash the blood away from killing humans, and that's why he's so weak. Kars demonstrates by touching blood on Kira's lip and creating a round, transparent bubble from his fingertip which transforms into a woman's head. Kars then touches Kira with the finger and the woman's head attaches to Kira's body. In time, more and more bubbles surround the head, causing Kira to be covered in several heads of women. Kira screams, trying to shake them off. Eventually, Kars touches the five meter long chain of heads, causing them to shrink and disappear. Kira goes into a state of shock, with hollow eyes and muttering that he's filthy.
Kars pulls Killer Queen out of Kira and the Stand attempts to blow Kars up. It repeatedly tries making Kars into a bomb, but Kars contains the explosions inside him and regenerates. Kars then orders Killer Queen to set Bites the Dust on Kira. Killer Queen obliges and goes inside Kira, shocking Kira that his Stand would betray him. Kira starts crying as Kars grabs his body and flies into the sky. Kars constantly has Bites the Dust activate and repeatedly explodes to keep going back in time.[4]
Aftermath
After the final battle against Dio Brando, Kars uses the exhausted Kira to take everybody back to their respective universes and timelines. His ultimate fate is unknown.[4]
