Sony wena 3 × JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean (Sony wena 3 ×「ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 ストーンオーシャン」) is a collaboration between the Sony company and the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise.
Summary
Sony is a Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Their "wena 3" smartwatch models are equipped with the following features: a Suica public transport IC card, electronic money functions, a wide screen display, Amazon Alexa, an activity log function including steps and calories, email, notifications, scheduler, alarm, and a timer. The watch buckle is 6.9mm. The supported operating systems are iOS 12.0 or higher and Android 6.0 or higher.[1][2]
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean × Sony wena 3
The collaboration was announced on September 20, 2022 with a teaser site.[3] On November 9, 2022, they updated the site with details, images, and prices of their new smartwatches.
Sony launched three types of the "wena 3 -JOJO Edition-" in limited quantities on Friday, December 16, 2022, though pre-orders began on November 17, 2022. The sales volume of each watch was limited to 1000 and then they were discontinued.[4]
Jolyne Edition
The dial is decorated with Jolyne elements such as butterflies and her tattoo, as well as the word "JOLYNE" engraved to show the bond between her and Jotaro. The pendant that Jotaro entrusted to her is at the 12 o'clock position. The band is made of fabric resembling a web of "strings". It has the G.D.st.JAIL logo woven into the lining. The minute hand's design is an arrow shaped by the strings and the hour hand's design is a fragment of the Arrow. Stone Free is on the back of the watch, with Diver Down secretly watching over it behind prison bars.
Jotaro Edition
The iconic motifs of Jotaro such as his hand symbol, anchor, and star mark are scattered across the dial, bezel, and lugs. The leather band is a reproduction of his distinctive snakeskin pants. The second hand can become invisible for five seconds as if time has stopped. The word "JOLYNE" appears in the background of the second hand to remind him of his daughter. In tribute to the Speedwagon Foundation's "Operation Savage Garden", the Foundation's emblem is placed on the minute hand and Star Platinum's DISC is on the back of the watch.
Enrico・P Edition
Based on Enrico Pucci, the watch features Whitesnake's crown-like emblem on the DISC-shaped dial. A nucleic acid sequence is engraved on the bezel and white leather band. The Rosary hands tell the time and there are prime numbers engraved on the dial. DIO's fourteen words are engraved as scratches on the back of the watch surrounding the Green Baby.
