Dododo De Dadada (ドゥードゥードゥー・デ・ダーダーダー, Dūdūdū De Dādādā) is a tertiary antagonist featured in the eighth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, JoJolion, specifically in the "The Wonder of You" story arc.
Dododo De Dadada belongs to a specific species of Rock Insects. It aids Wonder of U in its battle against Josuke Higashikata and Rai Mamezuku.
Appearance
It has a physique that is similar to a bamboo sushi mat.[4] The creature has a small spiked head with circular joints attached to its limbs. It has long spider-like mechanical limbs which can stick out from the surface that the insect is assimilated to. The ends of its limbs have small claws which act as stingers.

Personality
Dododo De Dadada is an invasive carnivorous insect, described by Wonder of U as being a hunter from the mountains. It preys on and eats small and medium-sized animals like rabbits and birds by assimilating into rocks and sand on the Earth's surface. However, sometimes it also hunts deer and other large animals. It shows loyalty to Wonder of U as it obeys its commands.[4]
When attacking someone, it prefers to aim for their throats.[2]
Abilities
Scaffolding
When Dododo De Dadada stands up, it assembles like scaffolding. Its body forms a crane out of bamboo sticks, carrying a bundle of sticks with a web-like string. It can attack by swinging the string to fire pieces of sticks at its opponent.[3]
Surface Assimilation
Dododo De Dadada is capable of assimilating with any surface such as the floor or a desk to quickly move toward its target.[3]
Asbestos Manipulation
Dododo De Dadada stores asbestos in its stingers at the ends of its limbs. Any living thing that is pierced by its stingers will spew asbestos out of every hole in their body when they extend themselves. For a human or animal, it is when they extend their joints, whereas for a plant or fruit, it is when they extend after being injured. It is useful for catching birds and rabbits that like to jump around when escaping. Fruits infested with this ability will appear as if they are diseased.
By melding with different objects, it can even use its stingers in long-range attacks. For example, the insect attaches one of its limbs to a stick which it fires toward Josuke, successfully allowing it to sting him while separated from its other limbs.
Mamezuku notes that despite its danger, its poison is not that strong.[4]
History
Background
Dododo De Dadada belongs to a certain undiscovered carnivorous insect species.[3] It is a Rock Insect acquired by Tooru and Locacaca Organization at some point in time. For unknown reasons, the insects infested the pear orchard of Rai Mamezuku's father with asbestos when Mamezuku was young. Mamezuku witnessed one of the bugs so his father investigated. This act of unintentionally pursuing the head doctor who planned the attack lead to Mamezuku's father getting caught in the flow of calamity, who then died from a landslide.[4]
The Wonder of You (The Miracle of Your Love)
Wonder of U releases Dododo De Dadada onto the floor of the secret laboratory in TG University Hospital. The insect assimilates into the floor and heads toward Josuke and Rai Mamezuku. It stands up to form a crane, lifting a small bundle of sticks. Dododo De Dadada uses the crane to swing the sticks at Josuke who blocks most of the attack with Soft & Wet's bubbles but gets a wound on his arm.[3]
The rock insect attacks once more, but when Josuke prepares to counter, he extends his arm. As he was previously stung on his arm, his act of extending himself causes asbestos to spew out of his eyes, mouth, and ears. Dododo De Dadada then melds with the surface of a desk and starts climbing up toward Josuke.[4] Mamezuku warns Josuke that the Rock Insect is climbing onto the desk, prompting Josuke to swathe everything that's on the table to uncover it but Dadada has actually hidden beneath the desk and swings another stick into Josuke, cutting his neck.
The Rock Insect keeps eluding him. Worse, more asbestos comes out of Mamezuku. When Dododo De Dadada attacks again, Josuke manages to catch the stick with his hand and stands up. As Wonder of U notes the gambit, Josuke has Soft & Wet pummel the desk while protecting its fists with the bubbles to reach Dadada. Mamezuku tears the asbestos off his eyes, enabling him to see that Dadada has already gotten away and is preparing an attack from behind Josuke. He warns Josuke, but it seems that Josuke's tactic has failed. Dododo De Dadada quickly repositions itself and his crane comes down from the ceiling. The string is already around Josuke's neck and the Rock Insect is about to clog up Josuke's throat with asbestos.
Suddenly, Wonder of U realizes that Mamezuku is clinging onto the ceiling, half-turned into wires. Crawling on the ceiling like a snake, Mamezuku is able to extend his finger into a wire and cut down Dododo De Dadada, killing the Rock Insect.[2]
