JJL Chapter 52
Trust is the eight hundred ninety-ninth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the fifty-second chapter of JoJolion.
Summary
With Josefumi and Kira trapped, Damo begins torturing them by slicing through Kira's body with a 1000 Yen bill. Damo chucks Josefumi's cell phone into the ocean after finding that it is barren of information about the Rokakaka. Damo explains that if one of them tells him where they hid the Rokakaka, he will spare him, but kill the other. Angry about always being abandoned (and having a flashback to when he almost drowned), Josefumi decides to tell him, but Kira distracts Damo before he can, telling him their "comrades" will arrive soon.
Karera shows up on the dock holding Josefumi's undamaged phone and in a panic, Yagiyama pins her down. Kira tells Josefumi to forget him and escape, his wounds being too severe as Damo realizes Karera was bait. Kira detonates Sheer Heart Attack hiding in Karera's hair, demolishing the docks, knocking everyone out of the boat and injuring Damo.
Josefumi swims Kira's comatose body downstream to where they hid the Rokakaka and begs him to eat it, but Kira does not respond. Furious, Damo demands to follow the two, but Yagiyama instead calls the twins in to do it. Josefumi uses Soft & Wet to force Kira to eat the fruit, but still he does not move.
