All The Automatic Stands in The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Series

An Automatic Stand is a Stand that is not activated by the user but rather an event or scenario. The Stands act as it own being, meaning if it is destroyed or damaged it won't effect the user. The scenarios vary with most users, with the most common being death.

Stands caused by Death

• Notorious B.I.G: It's user Carne was gunned down by Mista causing its appearance.
• Stray Cat. It's user Gatta was inadvertedly killed by Shinobu Kawajiri , awaking it's ability.
• Limp Bizkit. It's user Sports Max was killed by Ermes Costello , who used it's ability to keep himself alive. 
• Atom Heart Father. It's user Yoshihiro Kira died from old age long before the events of Part 4. it's ability was used to keep his spirit on earth to be with & protect his son.
• Highway to hell: It's user, having suicidal tendencies, has atractted pucci attention, who gives him a stand that can kill a person likewise he kills himself.
• Cheap Trick. It's ability is to kill the user if someone see his back, then proceed to transfer to the same person who saw it.
• Civil War. It's user Axl Ro was killed by Johnny Joestar , however Johnny feeling guilt over murdering Axl Ro revives him in the process.

Stands caused by certain scenarios

• Holy's Stand. Holy, being a kind-hearted person, was given a life-threatening stand through the influence of Dio. The effects of the stand was to give the user a high fever & eventually kill said user.
• Nijimura Patriarch's Stand. It's ability may be immortality. Its possible it wasn't an ability suited for fighting, as he wasn't sent to kill the Joestar group.
• Green, Green Grass of Home. As the distance between the green baby and a threat it perceives halves, their size and stamina drop proportionally, making approaching the green baby seemingly impossible to do. Should a person get close enough to the zero point, at a point close to the child, the stand will manifest and force it onto the green baby, supposedly attempting to wipe the person from existence as he or she vanishes to infinity.
• Extortion Road: This Stand appears under the Ginkgo biloba leaves littering Extortion Road. Should someone unaware of the Stand step on the leaves, the people who hang out on the street can make the unaware move without their knowing, often forcing them to cause some sort of physical damage to something that is worth money, forcing the target to pay money to get them to stop talking.
• 20th Century Boy: Activates and remains until the user stand by.(as seen magenta couldn't help to go into madness after being throw at the river.
• Highway Star: It has no personality, it can either be automatic or user dependent. 

​Stands detached from their Users

• Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath is Polpo's stand which is used to test potential Passione members by stabbing them with the Arrow if they fail Polpo's test. It's simply detached rather than a scenario Stand due to Black Sabbath being actually destroyed with Polpo not even realizing it.  
• Judgement:When Judgement was beaten by Magician's Red, even though its eyes were popped, its head blown off, and its arm and side cracked and shattered, its owner didn't have a scratch on him when he was discovered. 
• Baby Face: Since Baby Face is actually a homoculus constructed within a targeted woman's body, its injury and destruction will not affect its user, Melone; nor can Melone detect its movements and who exactly does it kill. 
• Sheer Heart Attack:Derived from the left hand of the Stand Killer Queen, this sub-Stand's sensory does not resonate with Kira Yoshikage's, thus Kira cannot identity whom it kills. However, pressure added upon his sub-Stand will influence Kira's body (his left hand, precisely), as when Echoes Act 3 "freezes" Sheer Heart Attack, Kira's left hand is forced to the earth and immobilized as well.
• Bohemian Rhapsody: Since it's bound to fictional characters Ungaro doesn't receive any damage given to his stand.
• Heavy Weather: It is totaly detached from Weather (as himself is not sure about its powers)
