|Translation = The "lion" in the title "JoJolion" means things like "blessed thing", "evangelistic", and "commemorative seal". It's a word from ancient Greek or something like that. By combining this word with "JoJo", I've meant for the title to signify the existence of the protagonist "Josuke" in this world. It's also used in the name of the tragic king in a Greek myth called "Pygmalion" as well as the Japanese animation "Evangelion", but I'm not sure if it has to do with the same idea. |

|Translation = The "lion" part of ''JoJolion'''s title is a suffix that, to the best of my understanding, can mean "blessed one," "gospel," or "commemorative seal." It's an archaic suffix, and I think it stems from ancient Greece. I combined it with JoJo in order to signify the existence of [[Josuke Higashikata (JoJolion)|Josuke]], the protagonist, in this world. There's a tragic king in Greek mythology named Pygmalion, as well as a Japanese anime named ''Evangelion'', but I'm not sure if there's any connection there. |

The "lion" part of JoJolion's title is a suffix that, to the best of my understanding, can mean "blessed one," "gospel," or "commemorative seal." It's an archaic suffix, and I think it stems from ancient Greece. I combined it with JoJo in order to signify the existence of Josuke, the protagonist, in this world. There's a tragic king in Greek mythology named Pygmalion, as well as a Japanese anime named Evangelion, but I'm not sure if there's any connection there.
