Sheer Heart Attack
Sheer Heart Attack (シアーハートアタック, Shiā Hāto Atakku) is Killer Queen's Secondary Bomb, featured in the fourth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Diamond is Unbreakable, primarily in the "Sheer Heart Attack" story arc.
It is an automatic indestructible ability that seeks heat to catch its targets before triggering a large explosion.
Appearance
Sheer Heart Attack takes the form of a plated sphere with a superficial, removable knob on its top and tank treads on either side. Embedded at its front is a cat-skull similar to those on Killer Queen's body, and on its forehead is a downward dagger that may represent an assassin.[2] The skull also has a movable jaw, and a short spike as a nose.[3] While it is not visible to non-Stand users, if Sheer Heart Attack attaches to someone, it will leave visible tread marks on their clothing. It also leaves an indentation on Kira's hand that doesn't appear to be visible to non-Stand users.[4]

Personality
Sheer Heart Attack is devoid of any personality as it is an automated Sub-Stand. However, as part of its autonomous nature, it blares simple and seemingly preset statements to its targets, most often "Look this way!",[5] but it also appears to have some level of awareness of its situation, as it is able to distinguish whether it targeted a human or not after it detonates, declaring "That explosion wasn't a human!".[6][7] It's also seemingly capable of experiencing pain.[8]
Abilities
Heat-Seeking Detonation
Sheer Heart Attack is a heat-seeking automatic bomb that detaches from Killer Queen's left hand.[9] As a result, any Stand abilities activated upon it are reflected onto Kira's left hand.[10] Because Sheer Heart Attack is bound to Kira's left hand, Killer Queen's Primary Bomb can still be used when Sheer Heart Attack is active.[11]
It is completely autonomous and has a great range, so Kira can safely engage Sheer Heart Attack and move a great distance away while it carries out its duties.[12] It seeks out whatever the warmest object in the vicinity is,[13] even changing targets the second a warmer object appears; upon reaching its target, the heat source triggers the bomb to explode.[14] If Sheer Heart Attack's explosion was set off by a non-human source, it will continue to seek out targets until it explodes from a human.[15] Like Killer Queen's first bomb, Sheer Heart Attack's explosions remove all physical evidence of the target.[16]
Its main drawback lies in its autonomy, which will sometimes prevent Sheer Heart Attack from prioritizing killing Kira's intended human target(s).[17][18] Secondly, since it needs to explode from making contact with a human target to fully dissipate, should Sheer Heart Attack need to be deactivated while actively seeking a target, the user must physically return in the range of Sheer Heart Attack to deactivate and retrieve it.[19] Furthermore, Sheer Heart Attack can continue to be active even after Kira's hand has been cut off, seen when he uses this to escape Josuke and company. Cutting off his hand gives Sheer Heart Attack even more power, as well as the ability to withstand even Echoes ACT3's 3 Freeze.[20]
High Durability
The body of Sheer Heart Attack is nigh-indestructible, withstanding countless blows from Jotaro's Star Platinum.[21] Kira claims Sheer Heart Attack to have no weakness, though it can still be affected by non-damaging Stand powers[10] and cracked if pulled apart at the mouth with tremendous force.[22]
Video Games
All-Star Battle (R)
In All-Star Battle and All-Star Battle R, Killer Queen's Sheer Heart Attack makes an appearance as Yoshikage Kira's Great Heat Attack, requiring two stocks of his Heart Heat Gauge to attempt. Upon execution, Kira has Killer Queen deploy Sheer Heart Attack, where it begins moving toward Kira's opponent.
If it connects successfully with the opponent, it will ram and drill into the opponent's abdomen, knock them into the air in an upwards leap, then fall toward them. Shouting at the opponent to look at it, Sheer Heart Attack detonates in their face at point-blank range to deliver massive damage, all while Kira faces away and brags about its lack of weaknesses.
While Sheer Heart Attack is fully unblockable, it can be evaded by the opponent and will be disabled if Kira is attacked or the timer gauge empties. It is also vulnerable to Koichi's 3 Freeze status ailment that Echoes ACT3 can inflict, immobilizing it and thus making it easier for him to attack Kira.
Eyes of Heaven
In Eyes of Heaven, Sheer Heart Attack returns in the form of one of Kira's skills. Once deployed, it will act autonomously from Kira and remain active for a lengthy period of time. SHA will chase after a target and attack, detonating to deal damage to anything in a small area, including Kira and/or his partner. SHA leaps at its target when it attacks and will then be left overturned and lay harmless on the ground for a few seconds regardless if it succeeds. It will detonate as many times as it can before its duration expires and it's forced to return to Killer Queen, which also interrupts Kira.
Notably, Sheer Heart Attack homes onto the hottest thing in the area, and its explosion size is proportional to the heat source (e.g. characters like Esidisi and Muhammad Avdol have fire-based attacks that will become SHA's priority, causing a larger explosion and dealing more damage). The same applies to the Joestar Mansion stage when it begins to burn down, and Echoes ACT2's "Sizzle" SFX at Boing-Boing Cape. SHA has unique interactions with other characters.
- Similar to All-Star Battle, if Koichi's Echoes ACT3 performs any skill that inflicts the 3 Freeze effect ("Heavy"), SHA will be weighed down and temporarily unable to move, affecting Kira as well.
- If SHA comes into contact with the erased space generated by Okuyasu Nijimura's The Hand, it will be erased itself, and Kira will take a medium amount of damage. SHA can still be reused after this albeit placed on cooldown.

Trivia
- Araki didn't want to make Killer Queen a Stand that could "do anything." So, to give it a limitation, he split up its abilities with Sheer Heart Attack and Bites the Dust.[23]
