Kars the Superbeing Is Born (story arc)
The Birth of Kars, the Ultimate Being (超生物カーズ誕生, Chō Seibutsu Kāzu Tanjō) is the fourteenth and final story arc in Battle Tendency.
Summary
Initially, Kars appears to have changed little. Then he transforms his hand into a squirrel which decimates the Nazi platoon. Horrified, Speedwagon is relieved when the sun appears, but Kars is now immune to the sun. All are despairing, but Joseph retreats into a plane, and lures Kars away from the group. Joseph plans to fly to a volcanic island and drop Kars into a volcano. Kars has grown wings and threw scales on Joseph's plane. They transform into pirahnas and ovtopus tentacles which tear the plane apart and it begins to fall down. Kars sees Joseph jumping out of the plane, and attacks him, however it was a dummy, and Joseph was still controlling the plane, and crashes it against Kars.
