Coming from Egypt, Urmd Avdul (ウルムド・アブドゥル, Urumudo Abuduru) was said to have crossed the Sahara desert three times annually. Unlike the other contestants in the race, Urmd's choice of transportation was a camel, which made him a prime candidate for winning the race. Due to the camel's long legs, it had the ability to keep up with a horse's speed, but at the same time crush any other racers with its 800 kg body.

During the 1st stage of the race, Urmd attempts to knock Gyro out from the race by crashing into him. However, Gyro uses his Steel Ball to locate a hidden cactus cluster and lure Urmd into it. The nomad crashes into the cacti and is unable to continue the race.[1]

Dot Han (ドット・ハーン, Dotto Hān) is a Mongolian[2] competitor in the Steel Ball Run. A descendant of Genghis Khan, Dot Han is renowned for being an Equestrian master and is deemed one of the race's favorites. His horse is named #1. He consistently ranks well in the Stages, but in the fifth Stage, Sandman covers him with sound bombs to attack Gyro and Johnny. He is eventually obliterated by Sandman's powers.

Gaucho (ガウチョ) is a Mexican[3][a] competitor in the Steel Ball Run. He rode on a horse named Peg. During the third stage of the race, he is shown going the long way around a lake to reach the finish line. During the fourth stage of the race, Gaucho is among those who become trapped in the orchard surrounding Ringo Roadagain's cabin. Overcome by frustration, he tries to take Ringo out, but is promptly killed. Gaucho appeared to be quite level-headed when he's first introduced to Hot Pants, Gyro, and Johnny. However, he quickly shifts into being impatient and quick to anger which leads to his downfall against Ringo.

Adam Pendleton (アダム・ペンドルトン, Adamu Pendoruton) is Lucy Steel's father, aged 42 when she was 14. He is the son of Silas and Mary Pendleton and owns a small farm in Oklahoma. He is heavily indebted to the mafia after the death of his wife. He inevitably had to make a decision of giving up his eldest son or daughter to the mafia to pay off his debts and decided to give away Lucy to work as a servant.

Steven Steel showed up to his farm one day and convinced him to tell the mafia that his daughter was damaged goods and married to Steven so that they wouldn't want her anymore. Adam was furious and started crying at first, but listened to Steven in order to save his daughter.

In addition to getting a $10,000 bonus for being first in the eighth stage, he won the final stage's one billion yen (around $8,333,333 USD) prize after Diego was disqualified from the race. For getting third overall, he won an additional 500,000 yen (around $4166.66 USD), giving him a total of around $8,347,499 for the whole race.

Marco was a servant of Baron Rippi and used to clean his hats and shoes. However, the military police of Naples arrested Rippi for treason, as they discovered that he was plotting a revolution and the assassination of the King of Naples. The baron, his family and his associates were put on trial and sentenced to execution.

Joseph of Arimathea (アリマタヤのヨセフ, Arimataya no Yosefu) was one of Jesus's disciples. When Jesus was crucified, he brought his body down and cleaned it before the burial. Three days later, Jesus arose and Joseph of Arimathea was here to witness His ressurection. Jesus thanked Joseph but announced that he would go East. Joseph asked if he would ever see him again but Jesus simply drew a map of the Americas with nine spots marked with a cross before leaving. Joseph of Arimathea recorded this on a map, which he kept close until his death. Joseph of Arimathea would be posthumously considered a Saint.

Danny (ダニー, Danī) is a white mouse raised by a young Johnny Joestar. At his brother, Nicholas' suggestion, Johnny sets Danny free into the woods when his father orders him to kill it. When Nicholas later rides the temperamental horse Black Rose during practice, a white mouse runs in front of him and into the forest. Black Rose is startled and throws Nicholas off, killing him. Johnny believes the mouse was Danny and he caused his brother's death. Danny is one of the illusions created by Civil War to attack Johnny.

There are other times during the Steel Ball Run when a white mouse resembling Danny appears. When Johnny learns to recognize the Golden Rectangle in nature, he sees a white mouse and calls out Danny's name just before evolving Tusk into ACT2. While Lucy Steel is running away from the Presidents aides, one of them is startled by a white mouse running near his feet, ultimately causing their deaths. When Funny Valentine is about to kill Johnny after cutting off his hand, he notices a white mouse nearby and wonders if it was brought closer by D4C Love Train's powers before being pulled away from Johnny due to Lucy being moved by Steven Steel.

Two iterations of Johnny Joestar from parallel worlds who fell victim to Funny Valentine's scheme to attack Diego Brando and Wekapipo. Valentine shot the base world's Johnny, who escaped to the sewers, and then arranged brief altercations with Diego and Wekapipo in such a way that both are tricked into shooting iterations of Johnny in parallel worlds.

Later on, during Diego and Wekapipo's battle against Valentine, one of these two Johnnys is guided by Diego's dinosaurs to the scene of the conflict, where he manages to kill Valentine using his nail bullets, though not before he transfers the Left Eye to an iteration of himself in a parallel world.

This iteration of Wekapipo from a parallel world, summoned by Funny Valentine to the base world, was stalked by the base world's Diego Brando. This Wekapipo picked up a gun dropped by the base world's Wekapipo and attempted to shoot Diego with it, much to the latter's shock. In the battle that ensued, Diego obtained the gun and shot at this Wekapipo while being transported by Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap to another parallel world, causing him to shoot a parallel world Johnny instead.

In their confusion, the two iterations of her attack and nearly kill each other, but the scuffle ends when the base world's Diego returns the displaced duo to their original world.

An iteration of Diego Brando in a parallel world pursuing Funny Valentine for the sake of diamonds instead of the Saint's Corpse.

He and his world's iteration of Hot Pants are sent to the base world by Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, where they encounter the base world iterations of themselves. After being attacked by the base world's Diego, this Diego pursues him; this turns out to be a ploy by the base world's Diego to return the two displaced racers to their original world by slamming them between a door and a wall.
