JoJolion - Chapter 3
Summary
The man puts on a sailor suit, finding that they fit perfectly. He and Yasuho try to call whoever is in the bathroom, but no one answers. They also hear footsteps in the apartment above Kira's, but don't pay it much attention. When the man personally checks inside the bathroom, he turns to find a naked woman bathing in the bathtub. He runs back to Yasuho, who also checks, sees the naked woman, and runs back. Yasuho tries to ask the man who the bathing woman is, but the man doesn't know. Back in the bathroom, Yasuho assumes the girl to be the man's girlfriend. The girl doesn't answer at first, but then gets out of the bathtub, begging them to save her, to the two's suspicion.
She accidentally knocks over a glass bottle that shatters on the floor, prompting her to look up at the ceiling in silence and fear, raising Yasuho and the man's concerns. Yasuho keeps asking the man who the girl is, but all she could get is confusion. To avoid the broken glass, the man tries to put on some slippers, but pricks his foot as the slippers are trapped with thumbtacks; he trips and knocks over several bottles in which numerous clipped fingernails are stored.
Yasuho finds a photo album. The protagonist tries to see what's in the album, but Yasuho suddenly screams in horror. She tearfully tells him to leave Morioh and never return. Then she throws the album at Josuke and runs out of the apartment. Calling after her, the protagonist looks at the album and is surprised to find photos of the mysterious girl in bondage intimate with what appeared to be him. He continues to question the girl to find out what kind of person he is.
The only response he can get from her is an impatient claim that he should be more concerned with rescuing her, after he allegedly managed to escape from the apartment a few days earlier. Before he can properly assess the situation a thud from the apartment above causes him to cut himself on a shattered glass bottle. At that moment, his wounded limbs begin to clot themselves into Q-shaped symbols. The girl, revealing the same symbols on her hands and feet, urges him to take her with him and escape before its too late.
