JJL Chapter 93
Summary
The chapter starts off with Josuke Higashikata contemplating about the new Locacaca branch. Meanwhile, a deliveryman enters the TG University Hospital and eventually reaches Josuke's location where Josuke gives him an unknown parcel to deliver. The deliveryman asks Josuke to confirm the address of the delivery, only for Josuke to silently pay him in cash. The deliveryman subsequently leaves. It is revealed that Holy Joestar-Kira is resting in a bed near Josuke. Heeding her advice, Josuke has decided to stop directly pursuing Satoru Akefu but to be made into pursuing him and patiently waits in the destroyed laboratory for his actions to pay off.
Meanwhile, Yasuho Hirose has arrived at the Higashikata House, looking for the New Locacaca branch but hiding outside. Indeed, she has deduced that someone from the Higashikata Family has the branch while Josuke and Rai Mamezuku are still thinking that the branch has left the estate. Yasuho uses Paisley Park to infiltrate the house through the video surveillance system. Paisley Park then hides into Joshu's mobile phone in his backpocket to use him as transportation. It is shown that Joshu is looking for Jobin, and comes by a despondent Norisuke, sitting on the stairs. After Joshu tries to encourage him to come with the rest of the family, he retreats back upstairs.
Yasuho takes note of Higashikata Family's unusually somber mood but quickly resumes her search. She initially aims to find Mitsuba, whom she trusts but cannot reach for unknown reasons, but her interest is piqued when she sees the bedridden Tsurugi. By pushing Joshu's phone out of his pocket, she is able to get the cell phone into Tsurugi's room and sneakily leave it after Joshu retrieves his phone. Paisley Park hides inside another mobile phone charging on the desk besides Tsurugi and calls for him. Yasuho tries to directly ask Tsurugi where the new Locacaca branch is but Tsurugi tells her to leave instead, explaining that he turned off his phone precisely so that she wouldn't come there. Someone then suddenly grabs the phone and brings it out of Tsurugi's room, only to toss it into the toilets. From the bowl, Yasuho finally sees that it is Jobin trying to drown Paisley Park. Worse, the signal of the phone is cut, isolating Paisley Park from Yasuho as she also begins to drown. Apologetic, Tsurugi still claims that they cannot let anyone find out their secret. Only 3 hours and 24 minutes to the harvest.
