At the end of the |
At the end of the Third STAGE, every major competitor is making a break for the finish line. They are given the choice of going around the lake, but [[Diego Brando|Diego]], [[Gyro Zeppeli|Gyro]], and [[Johnny Joestar|Johnny]] choose to directly cross it. Gyro thinks that Diego will attack them with his newfound ability; however, Johnny tells him that Diego is more concerned with surpassing him than risk getting disqualified. He warns Gyro that Diego's dinosaur senses give him an edge for exploiting the landscape and more importantly, that Gyro doesn't have the will to win on par with the British jockey, which gives Diego the upper hand. |

In an attempt to shorten the distance between him and Diego, Gyro ditches his luggage, as well as some of his clothes, and uses the [[Spin]] to squeeze water out of his body in order to lessen the weight on the horse and thus gain more speed. Summary
At the end of the Third STAGE, every major competitor is making a break for the finish line. They are given the choice of going around the lake, but Diego, Gyro, and Johnny choose to directly cross it. Gyro thinks that Diego will attack them with his newfound ability; however, Johnny tells him that Diego is more concerned with surpassing him than risk getting disqualified.
