Chapter 65
Ultimate Warriors from Ancient Times (1), originally The Truth That Hides in the Mouth of Truth in the WSJ release, is the sixty-fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the twenty-first chapter of Battle Tendency.
Summary
After Caesar flamboyantly sits down at the table, he and Joseph start up a game of cards. Both end up cheating and start to argue aimlessly, until Speedwagon interrupts to ask why they've been waiting around for 8 hours. A moment later, a car arrives to take them to the other Pillar Men. Caesar explains that he had formed a alliance with the Nazis, due to their common interest in the Ripple and in finding a way to defeat the Pillar Men. He introduces the driver as a young German soldier named Mark, who is betrothed to his girlfriend and planning to marry in the following week.
The group arrives at the famous tourist attraction, "The Mouth of Truth", which serves as a secret entrance into the Pillar Men's resting place. Upon entering, they stumble upon the corpses of the other Nazi soldiers, which puts Mark in a panic. Suddenly, the Pillar Men appear walking towards Mark, who does not have enough time to react as he walks straight into Wamuu. Wamuu thus absorbs a large portion of Mark's body without noticing, causing Mark to bleed out in immense pain.
