History

Koichi Hirose (Echoes)

Lamenting the stressful encounter with Tamami Kobayashi earlier that day, Koichi arrives home after school, only to find the man giving his mother a shoulder massage in the sitting room. As Tamami showers Koichi's mother with compliments, Koichi angrily asks him what he's doing in their house. Mrs. Hirose explains that he is returning 7,000 yen that he found after bumping into Koichi that morning, that money actually being what Tamami stole from Koichi. Furthermore, Tamami claims that the two accidentally swapped wallets, and insists that Koichi return it, claiming he had 500,000 yen inside of it. Despite Koichi's denial and his mother's doubts, Tamami adds that the wallet should have a receipt from the restaurant Jonny's, which Koichi pulls out. While Koichi understands Tamami's scheme immediately, his mother is wracked with guilt, and falls under the effect of The Lock.

Tamami explains the "theft" of his wallet to Mrs. Hirose.

With Mrs. Hirose now trapped under the weight of her guilt, Tamami loudly proclaims his plans, starting with finding the deed to the Hirose's home and land, and along with the family's legal seal. Soon after, Koichi finds his sister Ayana has also fallen under the effects of The Lock, after mistakenly believing she spilled hot tea on Tamami's hand. Filled with determination, Koichi summons his stand Echoes, which finally hatches from it's initial egg stage. After forcing his mother and sister out of the room, Koichi attacks Tamami with Echoes, only to find the stand is too weak to inflict any substantial damage. Amused, Tamami begins threatening Koichi again, until the latter points out an onomatopoeia on the former's face. Several onomatopoeia, which have been planted over his body by Echoes, begin to produce unbearably loud sounds from within him. Realizing the power of his stand, Koichi demands Tamami release his family from his stand's power.

Unwilling to give up his scheme, Tamami finds a knife in a nearby drawer, gives himself a shallow wound, screams, and tosses the knife to Koichi. When Ayana and Mrs. Hirose enter the room to the sight of Koichi having seemingly stabbed Tamami, the former faints from shock, while the latter becomes wracked with guilt to the point of considering suicide. Tamami orders Koichi to either stop the noises, or let his mother proceed to kill herself. However, Koichi instead uses Echoes to plant the words "Believe in me" on his mother. Hearing her son say this, Mrs. Hirose regains her trust in her son, believing his innocence, and loses her feelings of guilt, releasing her from The Lock. Afraid of Koichi, Tamami releases Ayana from The Lock and pleads for his forgiveness, swearing to be Koichi's loyal servant. Koichi agrees, and jokingly tells Tamami to bring him 500,000 yen by the following day.

Yukako Yamagishi Falls in Love

Yukako binds Koichi inside his bedroom.

While unwinding in his bedroom, Koichi thinks about his experience with Yukako, and wonders if Josuke and Okuyasu's plan to drive her away from him worked. He begins to doze off, and has a nightmare of Yukako approaching him. After waking up in a cold sweat, he discovers her pressed against his window, and she proceeds to bind him with her Love Deluxe. She tells him that she will help him live up to his potential as a man, and kidnaps him, holding him captive in a vacant summer home.

Let's Go to the Manga Artist's House

The night after meeting Rohan Kishibe, Koichi goes to weigh himself in his bathroom. Noticing that he's lost a dramatic amount of weight, he suspects it's the work of an enemy stand, not realizing it was due to Rohan removing several pages from him. When he rushes outside the bathroom, however, Heaven's Door's power causes him to forget what he was doing. Ayana, who was taking a call in the hallway, laughs at her younger brother.

Highway Star

Koichi finally takes Police on a walk.

On his way to take Police out for a walk, Koichi is interrupted by a phone call his mother asks him to take. On the line, Josuke explains his situation with the stand currently pursuing him, and asks for help. Unable to escape to Koichi's house, Josuke asks for any potential leads regarding the stand's user, with Koichi finding that a badly injured biker who crashed at the Futatsumori Tunnel's emtrance was taken to Budogaoka Hospital's ICU. Josuke manages to evade the stand's capture, and asks Koichi to find the user at the hospital.

Once Koichi arrives home, he is finally able to take Police on his walk.

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan
