Tower Records (タワーレコード, Tawā Rekōdo) is an international retail music business and online music store, known for holding many events related to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise. Typically centered around the stores in Shibuya and Osaka, Japan, the events are designed to showcase the TV anime adaptation and sell merchandise through companies like Warner Bros. and Medicos Entertainment.

Events

Tower Records meets Stardust Crusaders

Tower Records Shibuya meets JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders (TOWER RECORDS SHIBUYA meets ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 スターダストクルセイダース) was the first collaboration between Tower Records Shibuya and Stardust Crusaders. From June 3, 2015 to June 30, 2015, on the second floor of "Tower Records Cafe Shibuya", exclusive store merchandise and food related to Oingo Boingo Brothers Adventure were sold.

The food included Oingo Boingo Spaghetti alle Vongole in Bianco, DIO's bloody bloody orange juice, "Do you remember how many breads you have eaten?" English-style roast beef sandwich, Vanilla Ice Cream-The reality is ruthless-, "Yeah, I really like coconut" juice, Jotaro's Oraora Chai Latte, Kakyoin's Rero Rero Chai Latte, DIO's Muda Muda Chai Latte and "to be continued" Chai Latte. If you brought your food receipt to the store and said the two secret keywords you would receive a "Jotaro VS DIO Oraora Wasteful Rush Fan".

Goods sold included Oingo t-shirt (2 types), Boingo t-shirt (2 types), Iggy tote bag, Iggy hand towel, plate, cork coaster set (3 types), postcard set (3 types), clear file and clear file set (2 types).A second set of merchandise was released featuring Iggy can badge set (2 types), Oingo Boingo clear file set, Oingo Boingo t-shirt, Iggy t-shirt, Iggy water bottle and and "Boingo's Book of Prophecies Ver. Joestar and his party" acrylic stands which was exclusive to the Shibuya location. If you purchased all six Blu-ray volumes you would receive an exclusive t-shirt.

The eighth floor featured a special exhibition where visitors could view Model Sheets and a experience a small tour of DIO's Mansion. A live JO☆STARS concert featuring TOMMY, Coda, JIN was also held during the event on June 17, 2015 in order to promote the release of their new anthology songs.[2] A photo print service was also available.

Tower Records meets Eyes of Heaven

A small celebration was held for Eyes of Heaven planned for launch on December 17, 2015. From October 17, 2015, to November 1, 2015,[3] the second floor of Tower Records Cafe Shibuya included a panel of all the characters autographed by the voice actors, a playable demo in the skygarden, and a Stardust Crusaders-themed menu. The photo print service from the previous event was again present.

The menu was the same as the previous event other than the "to be continued" Chai Latte being absent and the addition of a Vanilla Ice (Cream)'s Gaon Chai Latte, IIggy's Kucha Kucha Chai Latte and a sweet and sour cocktail that came in a non-alcoholic version as well. All the chai drinks came with coasters.

The goods from the previous event also returned but the new additions included an Iggy coin purse, Iggy marshmallows and water bottle case. If you purchased 2,000 yen or more worth of goods you would receive a Jotaro postcard.

Tower Records meets Diamond is Unbreakable

As a collaboration between Tower Records & Diamond is Unbreakable, from September 10, 2016 to October 30, 2016,[4] the 8th floor "Space HACHIKAI" in the Shibuya store featured an exhibition where visitors could check out Model Sheets, autographs of all the voice actors, episode scripts, life-size panels of the cast and a summary of the episodes. A special menu related to Morioh was also hosted in Tower Records Cafe Shibuya & Tower Records Cafe Umeda NU Chayamachi. The photo print service from the previous event was again present.

The first "part" or set of the menu included "Once you taste it, you'll be dragged in." Prosciutto-style spaghetti, "Chigau! Chigau! Put it in your mouth with a tomato! ” Caprese, Teriyaki Sandwich with Saint-Germen Wrapping Paper, "Darkness that spreads in Morioh Town" Cake, Dessert set, Star Platinum drink with star-shaped pineapple, Red Hot Chili Pepper drink (spiciness was adjustable), Morioh Milk, Peace Mark Latte and Dora la la la la milk. All drinks came with a random coaster and an order of the pasta would come with a Pearl Jam coaster.

The second "part" or set of the menu included "Region's Hero" White Stew and Hamburg Steak, Cutlet Sandwich with with Saint-Germen Wrapping Paper, Yukako's Breakfast Set, Koichi & Yukako's Love Love Parfait, Josuke VS Rohan Mikitaka Cake, "Let's taste it" Kiwi Mojito, Sweet and Sour Soda with Yukako's rose fragrance, Heaven's Door" Milk, "But I refuse" Milk, "Penmark" Cappuccino as well as the Star Platinum drink with star-shaped pineapple and Red Hot Chili Pepper drink from the first menu. Those who spent 2,000 yen or more on food would be entered in a lottery to win a cardboard cutout from the store including the characters Josuke Higashikata, Koichi Hirose, Okuyasu Nijimura, Jotaro Kujo, Rohan Kishibe (normal ver./Newly written ver.), Yoshikage Kira and Kosaku Kawajiri. A additional version of Koichi was unavailable for the raffle due to his face being openable.

The goods included a TOWER RECORDS × Diamond is Unbreakable towel, acrylic stand, A4/A5 clear file set, postcard set, CD case, can mirror, poster B2 size, storage box, coin purse, drink sleeve, hand towel, cork coasters, plate, teacup, fork and spoon set as well as t-shirts of Rohan Kishibe, Bad Company, Aqua Necklace, Red Hot Chili Pepper and Josuke Higashikata. Banpresto also released a set of three crane game plushes early for purchase at the Shibuya store. You would receive a "CD SHOP Oscar" service card for every 2,000 yen spent, five of these could be exchanged for a limited edition acrylic keychain.

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan meets Tower Records

To commemorate the announcement of Mutsu-kabe Hill, from April 25, 2018, to May 20, 2018,[5] in Tower Records Shibuya. On the 8th floor, a special exhibition was held where visitors could explore the many locations of Morioh, such as Rohan's house or Futatsumori Tunnel. The venue also included a life-size statue of a Master Stars Piece Rohan in the middle, storyboards and info on the animated adaptation of Millionaire Village. A special food menu related to Millionaire Village was also featured in the Tower Records Cafe Shibuya & Tower Records Cafe Umeda NU Chayamachi.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind meets Tower Records

As a celebration for the final episodes of Golden Wind, an exhibition was held from July 19, 2019 to August 25, 2019[6] on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya. The venue featured genga and episode scripts, a life-size statue of Bucciaratti, and a wall of animator illustrations counting down to the final episode of Golden Wind. There was also exclusive merchandise related to JoJo's Pitter-Patter Pop!.

JoJo -A New Departure-

JoJo -A New Departure- (ジョジョ~新たなる旅立ち~, JoJo ~Aratanaru Tabidachi~) was a minor special event that went from June 11, 2021 to June 30, 2021 to wrap up promotion of Golden Wind before the transition to Stone Ocean.[7] Held on the second floor of Tower Records Shibuya, it included life-size cut-outs of characters from Part 5 and Jolyne Cujoh, as well as exclusive merchandise of Golden Wind by Medicos Entertainment.

A second collection titled "JoJo A New Departure Vol.2" would be later held from July 9, 2021 to July 25, 2021 on the 6th floor of Shibuya Marui, and from July 29, 2021 to August 2, 2021 on the 7th floor of Namba Marui.[8] Golden Wind-based "OSMO" stamps were also sold at Tower Records Shibuya during this time.
