Straizo vs. Joseph, Part 4 (ストレイツォVSジョセフ その④, Sutoreitso Tai Josefu Sono 4), originally Cold and Cruel, Straizo (冷酷非情ストレイツォ, Reikoku Hijō Sutoreitso) in the WSJ and tankobon releases, is the seventh chapter of Battle Tendency and the fifty-first chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

Joseph quickly runs down the street to get some distance away from Straizo, but is stopped by a man named Bruto. Bruto tries to apprehend Joseph for destroying the Cafe, but Joseph easily incapacitates him with a kick to the face. Meanwhile, Straizo, after fully recovering from the explosion, takes after Joseph by jumping from the second floor.

Joseph and Smokey stop at the Brooklyn Bridge, assuming they were to able to escape. Smokey offers Joseph a smoke but is cut short as Straizo reveals himself on top of the bridge holding an unnamed reporter as a hostage. Straizo threatens to hurt the woman if Joseph does not comply to a duel. Joseph nonchalantly rejects the threat, mentioning that he doesn't even know the girl, nor is she of any relation to him. Straizo ends up tearing a tooth out of the girl's mouth, which aggravates Joseph tremendously. He rips his outer shirt off and commences a showdown with Straizo on top of the bridge.

Straizo begins by firing more Ripper Eye beams, but Joseph had anticipated the attack. He pulls out two shot glasses, blocking one of the beams from hitting his forehead subsequently reflecting it back at Straizo, who takes the blast to his head. He is momentarily stunned, but soon gets back up and launches himself at Joseph. Charging the Ripple into his left hand, Joseph punches Straizo in the face to end the battle.
