Chapter 49
Straizo VS Joseph (2) (ストレイツォＶＳジョセフ その②, Sutoreitso Bāsasu Josefu Sono 2), originally The Game Master (ゲームの達人, Gēmu no Tatsujin) in the WSJ release, is the forty-ninth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the fifth chapter of Battle Tendency.
Summary
Joseph opens fire on Straizo with a Thompson submachine gun, blasting him through the window. He steps inside, and the inhabitants (including Smokey) are either in shock or fearful of him, believing he has killed a man. Straizo gets up and attacks Joseph with his Space Ripper Stingy Eyes, seemingly piercing Joseph's forehead and throat. The Joseph that Straizo damaged turns out to be a reflection in the mirror, and Joseph comes up from behind him and bashes him in the face with the butt of his gun. He charges the gun with the Ripple to attack him.
