Red Hot Chili Pepper (レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパー, Reddo Hotto Chiri Peppā) est le Stand d'Akira Otoishi, figurant dans Diamond is Unbreakable. C'est un petit Stand humanoïde avec une allure reptilienne qui se charge et devient plus puissant avec de l'électricité
Red Hot Chili Pepper est un petit Stand humanoïde qui ressemble à un alien avec un bec et une queue de lézard. Sa tête bossue ressemble à celle d'un pachycéphalosaure. Il a un corps plutôt organique qui est en majorité recouverte avec une armure lisse, et les articulations sont striées. Son entrejambe possède une protubérance cylindrique. En général, Red Hot Chili Pepper possède une aura électrisée dont la brillance est proportionnelle au niveau d'énergie du Stand. Son design est un mélange entre le dinosaure donnant des coups de tête de Kyouryuu Daikikou et de Freezer de la série Dragon Ball Z.[1]
Après avoir été vaincu par Josuke & Crazy Diamond, Red Hot Chili Pepper est envoyé dans l'océan et l'eau disperse son énergie et son corps. Il acquiert une couleur plus sombre, rouillée, et son corps est démembré, avec les jambes et le bras gauche qui manquent, remplacés par des tiges.[2]

In order to hide his identity, Otoishi speaks and is able to express various emotions through his Stand and its facial features (giving the strong impression that the Stand is responsible).
Abilities
Red Hot Chili Pepper is a [[Stand Types#|]] Stand based on electricity whose lethality increases dramatically when it is near electricity. Not only does its range and ability to pass through electrical systems make Otoishi impossible to find, when powered-up, it can physically overwhelm and outpace Crazy Diamond.[3][4] On the other hand, it is very dependent on its power source to act.
Electricity Absorption
At full power, Red Hot Chili Pepper is more than a match for Crazy Diamond
Red Hot Chili Pepper is capable of absorbing electricity to increase its raw strength and speed[5] and heal its wounds.[6] It is shown that it can absorb the full power of Morioh's electrical grid.[4]
However, the downside of that ability is that these power-ups consume a lot of electricity and Red Hot Chili Pepper must remain near sources of electricity to keep its stamina.[7] If Red Hot Chili Pepper ever falls into water, its electricity will also disperse and disable it.[4]
Upon depleting the electricity it has absorbed, it will weaken and take upon a rusted look instead of its shiny gold coat and slowly begins to vanish, threatening Otoishi's life.[6][7]
Electrical Transfer
Red Hot Chili Pepper can persist inside and pass through flows of electricity, and thus is able to hide inside power wires[8] or batteries[9] and quickly travel from one position to another through electrical cables. If Red Hot Chili Pepper holds on to an object, it can turn it into electricity and move it where it desires[8] and if this move is used on a living person, they are also dragged inside the electrical system, electrocuted, and eventually killed, as was the case with Keicho Nijimura.[8] Otoishi uses this ability to steal about 5 billion yen worth of goods throughout Morioh,[10] but also spy on his enemies.[5]
Red Hot Chili Pepper appears once again in Eyes of Heaven with Otoishi. If it comes in contact with any live electrical appliance, such as the electric chair in the Boing-Boing Cape stage, instead of taking damage, Chili Pepper will automatically charge Otoishi's Electric Gauge by two-thirds of a meter.
