The Bond That Binds Lisa Lisa and JoJo (リサリサとジョジョを結ぶ絆, Risa Risa to JoJo o Musubu Kizuna) is the twelfth story arc in Battle Tendency.
Summary
With Wamuu dead, Kars notes that only he is left. After seeing Lisa Lisa kill some of his vampire underlings who tried to take her down for him, taking the remainder out himself, Kars chooses the Piz Berlina temple ruins outside Skeleton Heel Stone as the setting for their match. As the fight commences, Lisa Lisa feels no aggression from Kars as he goes on the offense and she gets the upper hand with her Ripple-infused scarf. However, Lisa Lisa learned too late that she killed a vampire posing as Kars as the real Pillar Man stabs her from behind. Kars explains that unlike Wamuu, he is willing to win by any means while relieving her of the Super Aja. Kars then has the vampires all gang up on a enraged Joseph, who fights his way through them to get to Kars despite still being worn from his match with Wamuu.
Luckily, Speedwagon and Stroheim arrived with their groups outfitted with UV Light-based weapons to fend off the vapmires. Joseph takes advantage of the chaos to reach Kars, expressing hatred towards the Pillar Man who retorts that he result to any means to achieve his goal. After playing Lisa Lisa like a guitar while tying her feet in rope, Kars flings her over the side with Joesph holding the rope to keep Lisa Lisa from hitting the jagged rocks below. This leaves Joseph open to attack by Kars as Smokey is concerned that Joseph is unaware that he woman he trying to save is his mother.
