The Terrorist from a Faraway Country, Part 1 (遠い国から来たテロリスト その①, Tōi Kuni kara Kita Terorisuto Sono 1), originally Bombing in the Desert (砂漠の猛爆, Sabaku no Mōbaku) in the WSJ release, is the twenty-second chapter of Steel Ball Run and the seven hundred seventy-fourth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

As Tim survives the explosion thanks to Oh! Lonesome Me, he warns Gyro that a Stand user is after him. However, Oyecomova manages to sneak up and touch his hand, giving him several time bombs. Tim yells at Gyro not to release his grip since this is what's setting off the bombs, and tells him that defeating the Stand user is the most viable strategy.

The Italian and Oyecomova recognize each other, as Oyecomova was a famous terrorist in Gyro's country; he was captured and escaped the country, the blame for that escape falling on Gregorio Zeppeli. Gyro has many difficulties holding his grip on the bombs, Oyecomova using a mined mouse to propel Gyro into a building, and Gyro's hand beginning to sweat, the bomb beginning to slip from his hand.

Oyecomova departs from the town, but Gyro decides to release his grip, using the Steel Ball to reduce the damage done to him and preserve his throwing arm at the cost of an injured leg as well as attack Oyecomova who flees. Gyro realizes that Oyecomova is after the Zombie Horse, which has a healing power, and tells Johnny that they'll pursue Oyecomova.
