Rohan's Villa is a location featured in the ninth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, The JOJOLands. Rohan Kishibe stays at this vacation home on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi to examine samples of cooled lava from the nearby Hualalai volcano, where Jodio Joestar and his crew find him while tasked with stealing a diamond he has brought with him to Hawaii.

Description

Found a short drive away from Kona International Airport, Rohan Kishibe's villa is a two-story mansion built in an open-concept Hawaiian plantation-style. The immediate interior is built and decorated lavishly, with a double curved staircase and chandelier, and original paintings and sculptures on display.[1] According to the blueprints given to Team Jodio, the home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a study among it's rooms.[2] One of it's rooms is used as a laboratory, where Rohan studies samples of cooled lava sourced from the nearby Hualalai volcano.[3] Hidden behind a bookshelf is Rohan's safe, which held a large blue diamond, as well as a tray holding two samples of cooled lava rocks.[4][5] The backyard holds a garden with various potted plants, situated next to a large inground pool.

By the home's front entrance is a security camera, which is rendered ineffective by Usagi's use of his Stand THE MATTEKUDASAI.[6] During their heist, Usagi damages an original painting[7][8] and steals several items from the home.[9][10] The villa is mentioned to be up the street from a coffee farm.[11]

History

The Villa on Hawaii Island

For their mission, Meryl Mei Qi sends Team Jodio to heist a blue diamond with an estimated value of $6 million from the villa of a Japanese tourist. Upon arriving at the mansion, the crew go over the floor plan a final time, before masking up and heading in. To obfuscate video evidence of their heist, Usagi uses his Stand, THE MATTEKUDASAI, to create another security camera that slightly alters their appearances. Per their plans, Usagi, Dragona, and Paco break in through the front entrance, while Jodio acts as lookout, heading to the backyard. While making his way to the pool area, he discovers that the Japanese tourist is none other than the renowned manga artist Rohan Kishibe, someone who Jodio looks up to, no less.

The camera THE MATTEKUDASAI transforms into alters the team's appearances.

Meanwhile, Dragona and the others break in, telling the others to look for a safe and not steal anything unnecessary. While searching, the group finds a laboratory with a large collection of cooled lava rock samples and scientific tools. Back at the pool, as Rohan continues his swimming, Jodio goes through his iPad, admiring pictures of Bakin and sketches of Pink Dark Boy, as well as questioning why the artist has images of volcanoes and lava. As he ponders why a cat is on the property, he notices Rohan exiting the pool, warning the others who have just found the safe. Jodio uses November Rain to cause a short rainfall on the patio, distracting Rohan and giving the team enough time to find the diamond. However, just as they begin their escape, the group is attacked by a Stand made of wiry string.

Jodio manages to outsmart Rohan.

As the group struggle to escape from the string Stand, they also notice the cat, with Usagi theorizing that the cat is the Stand's user, acting as a security measure. The three manage to break through the Stand, but just as they're about to escape, Dragona notices the diamond has made its way onto the floor, and comes face-to-face with Rohan on their way to grab it. Using his Stand, Rohan manages to incapacitate Usagi and Paco, while Dragona remains bewildered by the diamond continually escaping their grasp. Rohan reports the robbery to the police, and as he is about to restrain Dragona, a sudden and strong rainfall occurs in his living room. Rohan, who has suspected that the person on lookout was the Stand user who made it rain earlier, investigates the rainfall, and quickly finds himself restrained by Jodio.

While the others want to beat Rohan, Jodio instead expresses his admiration for his work, before requesting that Rohan call the police and tell them the situation has been dealt with. When Rohan refuses, Jodio begins to interrogate him about the lava rock samples from his safe, destroying one and threatening to destroy the other if he doesn't let them escape safely. Utterly defeated, Rohan agrees, but not without telling Jodio to be wary of his allies. As the team depart for the jungle to the left of the villa, the cats that were seen around the villa begin to pursue them.

Trivia

Kailua-Kona Estate, the property Rohan's villa is seemingly based on.
  • The exterior of the villa appears to be heavily based on the real-life Kailua-Kona Estate. In addition to being located on the island of Hawaiʻi, the estate is located near a coffee farm.
