There ain't no security system that works like this! That's a Stand! And it's attacking us! That cat was targeting us this whole time!

Cat Size (キャット・サイズ, Kyatto Saizu) is the Stand of three cats, featured in the ninth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, The JOJOLands.

It manifests strings—also called wires—that automatically wrap around a victim's limbs and dig into their flesh.

Appearance

Cat Size is an integrated ability that applies to the fur of the cats. The fur appears as long thin translucent strings akin to a fishing line.

Cat Size allows the three cats to create long thin translucent strings from their fur.[1] The wires are hard to see and are compared to fishing line.[2] Despite feeling as if it is made from natural materials, the wires are as durable as stainless steel and cannot be cut normally with scissors.[3] The wires can target individual limbs but can be avoided, as Usagi Alohaoe was able to dodge an attack by jumping above one.

Once a wire is wrapped around a limb, it automatically ties itself off and tightens, digging into the victim's flesh. The nature of the wire and how it gets tighter on its own makes it very difficult to remove.[2] Instead of wrapping around someone, the wire can also pierce through them and sew itself into their bodies.[4]

Although the wires cannot be cut through ordinary means, it is still possible to remove them using other Stand abilities. For example, Smooth Operators dislocates Dragona's thumb and slides it down their wrist to place it below the string, allowing Dragona's hand to be thin enough for the string to easily slide off. THE Hustle is also capable of allowing Paco to be freed from the trap by combining a scissor blade with the force of Paco's vibrating muscles to push the blade upward and break through it. When a wire is removed from its target, if a cat loses its concentration, or if it goes far enough from the Stand's range, it dissipates.[3][1]

The cats can also work together to combine their wires to form a net for capturing their targets.[1] Dragona hypothesizes that this ability was designed to help them capture and devour their prey.[1]
