Irene (アイリン, Airin) é um personagem menor, mas muito importante em na sexta parte de JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Stone Ocean.
Ela aparece para Emporio após o reset do universo de Enrico Pucci falha e reverte, retendo o espírito de Jolyne Cujoh.
Aparência
Irene tem a aparência efetivamente igual a de Jolyne; fora ter um cabelo um pouco maior, e uma roupa diferente consistindo de um suéter gola-tartaruga cortado acima do umbigo, estampado com vários buracos em formato de corações
Personalidade
Irene is friendly and rather carefree, having offered a ride she shares with her boyfriend, Anakiss, to multiple strangers (Emporio and the counterparts to Ermes and Weather Report). She also seems to have a better relationship with her father than she previously did, as she is going to him to ask to marry Anakiss. Like Jolyne, she also adopts a motherly attitude to Emporio.
History
After the universe is reset due to Made in Heaven, Emporio Alnino defeats Pucci and is transported to a random gas station in the original universe. There he meets several of his friends, including "Irene" and her apparent boyfriend, Anakiss. Soon after Emporio misses the bus, Anakiss and Irene offer to give him a ride, assuring him that they aren't bad people. Irene tells Emporio that they were on their way to meet with Irene's father in order to ask for his approval of her and Anakiss's marriage. As they talk, the rain starts up and Irene takes off her jacket and wraps it around Emporio. Emporio notices the Joestar Birthmark on Irene's shoulder and tells her his name. The group drives off, but not before Irene tells Anakiss to stop the car to give a ride to who appears to be Weather Report walking on the side of the road.

A voz e frases da Irene aparecem durante o final das cut-scenes de texto do MODO HISTÓRIA de Stone Ocean, compartilhando sua dubladora, Miyuki Sawashiro, com a Jolyne. Esse texto consiste da sua conversa com o Emporio onde ela se introduz e o oferece uma carona (assim como na história original).
A roupa de Irene também aparece como a terceira roupa alternativa da Jolyne

Curiosidades
- O nome dela é o mesmo de Irene Rapona de uma das primeiras obras do Araki, Gorgeous Irene. Em uma entrevista, Araki diz que não tem nenhum significado profundo ou relação entre as duas Irenes, e que ele só estava se divertindo.[1]
- Araki também disse que a Irene pode não ter as memórias da Jolyne Cujoh original, mas ele ainda tem os mesmos sentimentos e amor pelos quais ela passou durante sua jornada inicial.[2]
- Os nomes Irene e Anakiss vem de um jogo de palavras em inglês quando juntos: Irene (I lean, eu me enclino) Anakiss (And I kiss, e eu beijo)
