The Birth of Kars, the Ultimate Being (1), originally The Birth of the Ultimate Being!! in the WSJ release, is the one hundred ninth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the sixty-fifth chapter of Battle Tendency.
Summary
Kars rises, the Stone Mask shattering, and the Red Stone of Aja falling to the ground. His arm, however, is still melting from the Ripple sent from Joseph's attack, giving Stroheim hope. Suddenly, Kars hand transforms into a squirrel. This squirrel, seemingly cute upon first look, goes to another squirrel, and gnaws on its flesh. The demonic squirrel then launches itself through Stroheim's metallic body and devours a Nazi. It then returns to Kars arm, transforming into a flower, and then into a butterfly. At that moment, the sun rises, finally Kars will be defeated by his greatest weakness and our heroes will be saved. However, the ultimate being has no weakness! Kars has finally achieved his goal, no longer will he have to hide in the shadows. He has tamed the sun! Stroheim is completely aghast, even Speedwagon is afraid, but Joseph has a plan to defeat Kars. A last resort plan, the ultimate Joestar technique. He grabs the Red Stone and runs away! To avenge his fallen comrades Kars grows wings and chases after Joseph.
