Summary

Pointing a gun at Hol Horse, Ryoko orders him to tell her what he knows about her cousin, Noriaki. Hol Horse panics about what he should say, since he wasn't the one who killed Kakyoin even though he tried to kill the Joestar Group as DIO's servant. He thinks of making excuses, but knows that she won't accept it. He tries calming himself down by thinking even if she shoots him, he could shoot the bullet out of the way using Emperor. He recalls back to when he was under pressure when he tried shooting DIO a decade ago. After he succumbed to DIO's power, he came across several women lying on the floor of DIO's Mansion, some of them dead with blood drained from their necks. He found a few that were still barely alive. At first, he wondered why he should get involved with these random women, but ended up saving three of them by carrying them out of the mansion and then shoving them into a taxi. He gave the driver money and ordered him to quickly drive away.

Hol Horse never knew why he saved those women, but he now realizes that it was at that moment where he truly acted as the "Emperor" for the first time in his life. He followed his own heart, being the nicest guy in the world when it comes to women. He decides to tell Ryoko the truth: he was Kakyoin's enemy ten years ago and fought him and his friends as DIO's servant, but was no match for them. Ryoko trembles upon seeing Hol Horse's solemn face filled with regret and hesitates to shoot him, as his expression reminds her of Noriaki's from when she last saw his soul. Noriaki's spirit then appears by Ryoko's side and gently pushes her hands down, telling her that it's okay now. Hol Horse is surprised that Ryoko didn't shoot him, but Ryoko says that maybe it's because she wants to be a coward too, just like Noriaki thought he was.

Ryoko helps Hol Horse get back up off the ledge. He tells her that the only way he can describe what Noriaki and his friends did ten years ago is that they saved the world. Suddenly, Hol Horse's forehead starts bleeding, fulfilling Tohth's earlier prophecy. Ryoko is surprised as to what happened, but Hol Horse says it's an old wound that never healed properly. However, now he has the feeling that it'll get better. Josuke and Boingo meet up with Ryoko and Hol Horse as the incident is resolved, with Josuke carrying Pet Sounds in his arm.
