"Damn it, we're back in the same place again. We're definitely just going around in circles."
"Well, at the very least, confirming that we're repeating things is progress in itself, NiNi."

Summary

Josuke and Hol Horse's Goodbye

TUTU, currently known as Tohth, has existed in various forms throughout history, such as a papyrus scroll or parchment manuscript. This is its seventh time under the name Tohth. The names it takes often reflect the sound heard in its owner's head: "to, to, to—." Its origins remain a mystery, possibly predating the concept of Stands, and it serves as a neutral record-keeper of human history rather than a tool for altering the future. Moreover, relatives of TUTU's owner would be granted the ability to alter their appearance, serving as guardians of the book. TUTU appears to have acted intentionally during recent events, possibly to free itself and Boingo from DIO's influence. This uncharacteristic behavior suggests DIO's threat may have been uniquely dangerous even to TUTU, which otherwise remains impartial.

Kazuki Karaiya was found fused to construction sheets in a zelkova tree hours after he abandoned his post and ignored all calls. He was rendered incoherent, muttering delusions about being "The Ultimate Singer", and would need to be hospitalized for at least six months to remove all the sheets fused to his body. His actions have left Ryohei Higashikata with needing to work additional shifts. It is still a mystery as to how he acquired Pet Sounds, whether through police duties or theft, but Josuke brushes off the details, satisfied that Pet Sounds has been retrieved. Hol Horse remains uneasy, warning Josuke about the dangers in Morioh. Hol Horse laments his own problems, complaining about Oingo, who was spotted by a gang he owed money to after receiving a call from a woman, leaving Hol Horse to negotiate for his life. He grumbles about Boingo's uselessness as well, but Josuke teases him, pointing out that Hol Horse might be nicer than he lets on. Hol Horse protests that it's a hassle, and mentions needing to catch a train but Boingo is wandering around somewhere. Josuke wonders why Hol Horse dresses like a cowboy, so he reveals that after leaving his orphanage as a kid, he wandered into a movie theater and saw the film For a Few Dollars More. He was inspired by the Man with No Name, representing his free-spirited philosophy.

As they walk and talk, Josuke suddenly spots Ryoko Kakyoin across the street. Interrupting the conversation, he abruptly says goodbye and runs off to catch up with her, leaving Hol Horse behind. Watching Josuke rush off, Hol Horse chuckles at his restless energy and continues on his way, confident about where to start searching for Boingo.

Boingo and Ryohei's Goodbye

Boingo rushes through the town, clutching Tohth tightly. Before reuniting with his brother, he felt compelled to visit one specific place: the police box where Ryohei Higashikata worked. Boingo wanted to express his gratitude for Ryohei's earlier kindness. However, the intimidating atmosphere and crowd inside makes him hesitate. When an officer notices him, Boingo explains he had found his lost comic and completes the necessary paperwork to finalize the case. Just as Boingo catches his breath outside, Ryohei appears and greets him warmly. Boingo thanks him and awkwardly mentions Josuke's help, which prompts Ryohei to admit it is nice to hear something positive about his grandson. Boingo struggles to express how grateful he is, but as he fidgets, Tohth slips from his grasp, opening on the ground.

To their shock, the book begins displaying a new prophecy. It praises Boingo's growth, noting that he had successfully thanked Ryohei. However, it also predicts that Ryohei would soon die, collapsing and bleeding from his ears. Boingo freezes in horror, unable to speak. Calmly, Ryohei picks up the comic, dusts it off, and returns it to Boingo. Although Ryohei doesn't understand it, he doesn't think Boingo is the type to pull a cruel prank like saying he would die. He offers Boingo reassuring words and a kind smile, telling him not to worry about it. Hol Horse finds Boingo and urgently drags him away, stating they had no time to lose as Oingo's life was in danger. After they leave, Ryohei reflects on the prophecy. He pulls out a pendant with a design of two hearts dangling together from his pocket, a keepsake from his late wife which she had planned to give to Tomoko, but Tomoko rejected it due to the embarrassing design. He also pulls out a family photo from his pocket featuring Tomoko and Josuke. Speaking to his late wife through the pendant, Ryohei acknowledges that his time might indeed be running out, but he expresses unwavering faith in Josuke's ability to protect Morioh in his stead. Finally, as Ryohei mounts his bicycle to resume his patrol, he resolves to contact someone who could provide support to Josuke in his absence. He always knew where to find Joseph Joestar, but never wanted to contact him. He decides to make up a reason such as investigating inheritance.

Josuke and Ryoko's Goodbye

As Ryoko prepares to leave S-City, she wrestles with her emotions. Her parents wanted her to return home to Kanagawa, but instead, she planned to go to her apartment in Kyoto, where she would live once she started university. She needed time alone to recover and process everything that had happened. While waiting for the bus to the airport, Josuke greets her casually and chastises her for leaving without a word. She rudely asks him what he wants since she already apologized, with Josuke joking about her sharp demeanor and her need to maintain her "tough exterior." Ryoko then admits her own immaturity, reflecting on how she had clung to her cousin and rushed ahead based on selfish assumptions. Josuke reassures her, stating that her admiration for her cousin and her desire to protect what matters to her aren't weaknesses.

Abruptly, Josuke uses his Stand to cut Ryoko's bangs, claiming it is a way to help her start making changes. Ryoko is furious, slapping Josuke across the face in anger. However, Josuke's Stand immediately restores her hair, and he uses the moment to explain his actions. He points out that she was able to let out how she truly feels due to Josuke ruining something important to her. Instead of acting like her admiration for her hero is a weakness, Josuke believes suppressing her emotions isn't what her cousin would have wanted, and he encourages her to embrace her true feelings. Ryoko starts crying and thanks Josuke for helping her.

Their conversation takes on a lighter tone, with Ryoko mentioning that she's good at video games like F-MEGA. Josuke suggests that he could be her boyfriend so she has a change of pace. Ryoko rejects him, teasing him about being younger and it being a long-distance relationship, pointing out that he should get over his fear of turtles first. As the airport bus arrives, Josuke bids her farewell. Just before he walks away, Ryoko calls out, struggling to find the right words. Finally, she shouts that his hair looks great. Josuke smirks and gives her a thumbs-up in agreement.
