JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Volume 100.5 is an anniversary booklet that was bundled with the April 2010 issue of Ultra Jump. The booklet has sketches and messages from twenty manga artists to celebrate the 100th Volume of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series.

When I was in elementary school, I clearly remember carrying a JoJo manga in my bag every day and reading it for the entire train ride to cram school. When I heard that JoJo was coming to Ultra Jump, I was absolutely thrilled. Just knowing that my work is now published in the same magazine as the manga I admired makes me unbelievably happy. Now and forever, I will always be a fan of the bizarre, epic, and cinematic world of JoJo!
All of Araki's characters are really cool! But for me, this is the best of them all!! Please continue drawing lots of cool characters!

Congratulations on the publication of the 100th volume of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series (hereafter referred to as JoJo).
Looking back over the past twenty-odd years, I've constantly said how much I love JoJo in both my personal and professional life. Being able to participate in such an official event is an overwhelming honor and a dreamlike joy. In Speedwagon's words, "Some people are just fated to meet each other."
Since Araki-sensei began serializing in Weekly Shonen Jump, JoJo has been my favorite manga in the universe, and that remains unchanged to this day. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, no joke, I truly believe it is the greatest creation ever made by humankind.
This is because the characters and stories created by Araki-sensei possess a unique and unparalleled originality, and while they remain timeless, they continuously stir the hearts of us readers. How many times in my life have I been encouraged by Jonathan's way of life? How many times have I been stunned by Dio's "Do you remember how many pieces of bread you’ve eaten?"
Several decades ago, I was playing around with Hamon techniques with my friends, but after going through various twists and turns, now that I’m working in the manga industry, I feel an overwhelming sense of astonishment and awe, wondering, "How on earth does he come up with such stories, characters, and lines)!?"
Once again, I would like to express my respect for Araki-sensei’s talent and power in continuing to create this grand story spanning 100 volumes (with a mindset like N'Doul following DIO), and offer my words of congratulations.振り返ってみればこの二○数年、私は公私いたるところで『ジョジョ』が好きだ、『ジョジョ』が好きだと言い続けてきたのですが、このようなオフィシャルな場に参加させていただけることは身に余る光栄であり、夢のような喜びであり、スピードワゴン風に言えば「人の出会いってのは、運命で決められてるのかもしれねーなぁ」という思いです。
週刊少年ジャンプで荒木先生が連載を開始して以来、私にとって『ジョジョ』は“宇宙で一番好きなマンガ”であり、それは未だに不動です。本気で、心底、冗談抜きで、 人類が創りだした最高の創作物だと信じています。
それは、荒木先生が生み出すキャラやストーリーが唯一無二のオリジナリティを持ちながら、時代を通じて色褪せることなく、常に私たち読者の心を揺さぶるからです。これまでの人生で何度、ジョナサンの生き様に励まされたことでしょう。ディオの「おまえは今まで食べたパンの枚数を覚えているのか?」に戦慄したことでしょう。
二○数年前は友人たちと素朴に波紋法ゴッコをしていた自分ですが、紆余曲折を経てマンガ界でお仕事をさせていただくようになった今では、「なんでこんなストーリー (ORキャラ、セリフ)思いつくんだーッ!?」と驚愕と畏怖を強く感じます。
改めて、一○○巻に渡る壮大な物語を描き続ける荒木先生の才能とパワーに(DIOに従うンドゥールのような心境で)敬意を述べさせていただき、お祝いの言葉にさせてもらいたく思います。

I have been a big fan of Araki-sensei ever since Cool Shock B.T. I've had the opportunity to meet him several times since becoming a manga artist, but what surprises me is that I still don't feel like he actually exists. In other words, he’s so far above us.
Please continue to entertain us with your incredible expressive power. Congratulations!『魔少年ビーティ』でものすごいCOOL SHOCKを受けて以来、 僕は、ずっと荒木先生の大ファン。まんが家になって何度かお会いする機会を得ましたが、驚くのは未だに実在する気がしないってこと。つまり余りに雲の上って意味です。

Since the first time I picked up Jump, I have continued to be shocked by Araki-sensei's manga, and now I'm able to offer my congratulations like this!!
I love how Polnareff carried a heavy past but never lost his brightness. Even when he was half-crying and panicking, he still managed to defeat the enemy, which was really cool! I was shocked when he turned into a turtle...
