Wrecking Ball, Part 3 (壊れゆく鉄球 レッキング・ボール その③, Kowareyuku Tekkyū Rekkingu Bōru Sono 3), originally Wekapipo's Method (ウェカピポのやり方, Wekapipo no Yarikata) in the UJ release, is the fifty-third chapter of Steel Ball Run and the eight hundred fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

The flashback continues; after his botched operation, Gyro is deeply distraught and cannot accept the blind woman's thanks for operating her, as his father Gregorio silently scolds him.

In the now, the Wrecking Ball's satellites shoot themselves again toward Johnny and Gyro. Johnny shoots all his nails to repel some of the satellites and Gyro sacrifices his right hand to protect Johnny from one satellite. Nonetheless, the left-side ataxia begins again and Gyro is able to pick up one Steel Ball only. Magent Magent springs into action again and disappears to the left; his rifle destroyed, he uses a revolver instead. Looking at his injured hand and Magent shooting the wolf first, Gyro and Johnny realize that the enemy is cautiously cutting off their ways to use the Golden Rectangle, severely crippling their fighting ability. Gyro throws his last Steel Ball in the general direction of the government agent, which hits him. Magent, enraged, shoots Gyro's stomach and approaches to finish off the duo. However Wekapipo warns Magent that Gyro can use the bullet in his stomach as another Steel Ball, which enables him to protect himself when Gyro does use it, and the bullet is reflected upward. The left-side ataxia wanes and the duo and Magent see one of Gyro's Steel Ball between them. Magent smugly dares Gyro to pick up the Ball, but the bullet threw earlier came down and goes through Magent's head, destroying the left side of his face and incapacitating him. Gyro gets both his Balls and Johnny's nails have regrown.
