Caesar's Lonely Youth (1) (シーザー孤独の青春 その①, Shīzā Kodoku no Seishun Sono 1), originally Caesar: The Anger from the Past (シーザー過去からの怒り, Shīzā Kako kara no Ikari) in the WSJ release, is the eighty-eighth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the forty-fourth chapter of Battle Tendency.

Summary

Saint-Moritz, a city of sun and snow, where the remaining Pillar Men hide in wait for the coming night. Lisa Lisa, Caesar, Joseph, and Messina have found their hideout, and are coming up with a strategy to defeat Kars. Caesar and Messina believe they should attack immediately while the sun is still up, but JoJo disagrees, believing that Kars is to attuned to fighting battles during the daytime. Caesar strongly disagrees, and the two argue. Caesar says that he and JoJo must break their families' curse, but JoJo believes that is a stupid reason to kill yourself. Caesar punches JoJo, and then angrily walks away to go fight Kars. Lisa Lisa orders him to stop, but he disobeys it, stating that he must do this for his lineage. As Caesar approaches the mansion, he spots footprints leading to an open door. From inside the mansion a wind blows forth, revealing an invisible figure in the doorway.
