The Remains Lurk (Story Arc)

The Remains Lurk (忍びよる残骸, Shinobi Yoru Zangai) is the seventh story arc in Battle Tendency.

Summary

Joseph returns to the main island and spends a moment flirting with Lisa Lisa's servant Suzie Q before going to meet Lisa Lisa. He notices that his back feels relieved of a weight. Some time later Joseph is astonished to see Suzie Q in the docks then in Lisa Lisa's bathroom moments later. When Caesar barges in, Joseph and Lisa Lisa explain that Esidisi has taken over Suzie's body and, having sent the Red Stone of Aja to his fellow Pillar Men via the postal boat, is blocking they way out. Esidisi taunts the group as there is no way for someone to inject the Ripple into Suzie's body without killing her, but Caesar and Joseph work together to kill Esidisi without Suzie Q, sending the Ripple in a way that it cancels out at the level of her heart. Esidisi subsequently dies.
