The Mukade Shopkeeper (ムカデ屋店主, Mukade-ya Tenshu, lit. "Centipede Shopkeeper") is an unnamed tertiary character featured in the fourth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Diamond is Unbreakable. The man is the elderly owner of Mukade Shoe Store, a small store located in Morioh that also does simple tailoring. Yoshikage Kira goes to his shop to repair his jacket.

Appearance

The owner is a short old man with a mustache. He has neck-length hair with parted bangs and points outward at the end. The man wears a long-sleeve shirt with a vest on top. The vest has dark circles on each side, with two large circles on top and thinner ones under. He also wears a necklace with two small beads and a larger bead in the middle and has a piercing in his left ear.

Personality

He enjoys eating Tabekko Dobutsu animal crackers and always saves the camel-shaped ones for last. He appears to be vain to some degree as he states that he has an excellent memory and can remember the name of every one of his customers but is unable to recall the one on Yoshikage Kira's coat. While looking at the name tag on Kira's collar, he has trouble reading the kanji.

History

Diamond is Unbreakable

Jotaro and Koichi visit his shop and ask if he's seen any clothing that have buttons resembling the one Yoshikage Kira lost when fighting with Shigechi. The store owner randomly responds by asking Koichi if he wants any animal crackers before pointing out that he just finished repairing a jacket with those buttons. Just as he tries to read the order tag on the jacket to find out the customer's name, his hand blows up. He is then immediately killed by Kira's Sheer Heart Attack which drives into his mouth and blows up.
