A Psychic Connection (心霊接続, Shinrei Setsuzoku) or a Psychic Bond (心霊絆, Shinrei Kizuna)[a] is a strong tie that certain characters, usually familial, share. It allows them to sense each other's general locations, awaken Stands in one another, or cause them to share injuries.[1][2]
Summary
Psychic connections are first brought up when Joseph Joestar explains to his grandson Jotaro how he awakended his Stand. DIO had been pierced by an arrow bringing out The World, and because of this Jonathan Joestar's body sends a distress signal to his descendants awakening Hermit Purple and Star Platinum.[3] Due to these psychic links Holy and Josuke would also awaken to their Stands, but would be unable to control them. Their inability to control their Stands would harm them with fatal illnesses and would become dormant upon the defeat of DIO.[4][5] Giorno and DIO's other sons would awaken their Stands this way too.[6]
After J. Geil is killed by Jean Pierre Polnareff, his wounds transfer to his mother Enya.[2]
After being blinded because of his deteriorating body Bruno Bucciarati mistakes Doppio's soul for Trish's because they have the same aura.[7] Trish being able to sense Diavolo plays a major role during the gang's final confrontation against him. After Diavolo's death, Trish claims that she can still sense his presence, but Giorno assures her that his reign has ended.
After fusing with the Green Baby, Enrico Pucci gains the Joestar Birthmark, which also affects Weather Report. The two are now able to sense the locations of Jolyne and DIO's sons.

Charles de Guise vs. Jean Pierre Polnareff
Charles de Guise is a character from the manga and anime series Fist of the Blue Sky, while Jean Pierre Polnareff is a character from the manga and anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. As they are from different series, they do not have any canonical interaction with each other.
However, if we were to imagine a hypothetical scenario where Charles de Guise and Jean Pierre Polnareff were to fight, it would be difficult to determine who would win as both characters possess unique abilities and fighting styles. Charles de Guise is a skilled fighter who is proficient in martial arts and has a strong physique, while Jean Pierre Polnareff is a skilled swordsman and Stand user who possesses the ability to manipulate the environment around him.
Ultimately, the outcome of a battle between these two characters would depend on various factors such as the location of the fight, their respective motivations, and their individual strengths and weaknesses.
