The Zeppeli family is a recurring Italian family first seen in Phantom Blood when William Anthonio Zeppeli introduces himself and becomes Jonathan Joestar's mentor, teaching him in the ways of the Ripple. They continue to act as companions to the Joestar Family. Will's son, Mario Zeppeli, allies with Lisa Lisa to investigate the Pillar Men. Mario's son, Caesar Zeppeli, later becomes Lisa Lisa's apprentice and Joseph Joestar's friend.
In the Steel Ball Run universe, Gyro Zeppeli is introduced as the deuteragonist for the story. Despite being partners with Johnny Joestar, he also teaches him lessons on how to use the Spin.

Trivia
- The Zeppeli Family practices supernatural martial arts and crafts separated from Stand power, unlike the Joestar Family. In the original universe, they are proficient in the art of the Ripple, and in the Steel Ball Run universe, they practice the art of the Spin.
- It is a recurring theme that a Zeppeli will sacrifice themselves to further their cause, usually while directly assisting a Joestar by giving them their power and knowledge.
