The Bond That Binds Lisa Lisa and JoJo (Story Arc)

The Link Between Lisa Lisa and JoJo (リサリサとジョジョを結ぶ絆, Risa Risa to JoJo o Musubu Kizuna) is the twelfth story arc in Battle Tendency.

Summary

Kars then challenges Lisa Lisa in the ruin of the Piz Berlina Temple. Fighting on a tie rod, Lisa Lisa seemingly defeats Kars, but it was a decoy and the real Kars stabs her from behind. Kars, sneering at the idea of fighting honorably, takes the Red Stone of Aja and orders the death of Joseph, who is overwhelmed by the Vampires.

Joseph is saved when Stroheim, Speedwagon and Smokey arrive with several men equipped with UV lights, which enables them to fight the vampires. Joseph then confront Kars on the tie rod, but Kars ties her up to a rope and drops her, forcing Joseph to hold the rope, meanwhile Smokey thinks to himself that Joseph doesn't know that Lisa Lisa is his mother.
