Capcom Games ★ Evil Incarnate DIO
Evil Incarnate DIO (邪悪の化身ディオ, Ja'aku no Keshin DIO) or Shadow DIO in the English localization, appears as a playable character in the Capcom games. He was part of the original roster in JoJo's Venture as a secret unlockable character, and is a Passive Stand user, wielding The World.
Command List and Gameplay
In the game where Active Stands are prevalent, Shadow DIO is a passive Stand user. He can deal a lot of damage with full offensive attacks without an Active Stand via a solid amount of frame-traps and pseudo-disjointed pokes with his silhouette-version of The World, even though he lacks the more defensive and utility-type traits of having an active Stand. His Stand attacks are effective as surprises, and capable of juggling and/or short bread-and-butter combo finishers. Combined with his own attacks, he deals a lot of damage in a short time, more so within The World, when he stops time.

His Story Mode in JoJo's Venture features no storyline, only an assortment of fights. In Heritage for the Future, as the incarnation of evil itself, DIO sets out to annihilate the Joestar Group himself and become the ultimate being.
In Super Story Mode on the PS1 version, after finishing Super Story Mode once, four extra stages are unlocked adapting various characters' encounters with DIO.
