Caravan Serai (キャラバン・サライ, Kyaraban Sarai) is a tertiary character featured in the third part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stardust Crusaders. He is the original user and creator of Anubis, a sentient Stand bound to a sword forged 500 years before the events of Part 3.

Stardust Crusaders
He was blacksmith who created the sword that the Stand Anubis was bound to, and thus was its first user five centuries before Stardust Crusaders. When Serai died, Anubis did not die with him, but rather, without a user, began to search for users on its own.
Five centuries ago, (around the 1480s), Caravan Serai created the sword where the Stand Anubis was bound with, and such was its first user. When Serai died, Anubis did not die with him, but rather, without a user, began to search for users on its own.

Caravan Serai also makes a brief cameo as a name on the charts of the Steel Ball Run race, placing 11th overall after the 4th race.
