Ultra Jump (ウルトラ ジャンプ, Urutora Janpu) is a Japanese monthly seinen manga magazine published by Shueisha under the "Jump" line of magazines.

Originally, the magazine was a special issue of Weekly Young Jump which first issued in 1995. On October 19 of 1999, the special issue became the new monthly publication Ultra Jump. The manga titles serialized in the magazine are also published in tankōbon volumes under the Young Jump Comics Ultra label.

Having transferred to the magazine from Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has become one of Ultra Jump's most featured titles.

History

Ultra Jump started as a special issue of the Seinen anthology Weekly Young Jump called "Young Jump: Ultra Special Issue: Ultra Jump", which first issued in 1995. The magazine was split to a monthly publication in 1999, simply called "Ultra Jump". On March 19, 2008, Ultra Jump released an online spin-off of the Ultra Jump magazine: "Young Jump: Ultra Special Issue: Ultra Jump" (ヤングジャンプ超増刊ウルトラジャンプ, Yangu Janpu Chō Zōkan Yangu Janpu). Ultra Jump Egg is an online manga website that mainly serializes manga not in the original Ultra Jump magazine.

Commercials

This section requires expansion.

As well as being one of Ultra Jump's most featured titles,JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is also featured in the magazine's TV commercials. The commercials feature characters from Parts 4, 5, 6, and 8.

Diamond is Unbreakable

In the first commercial, Okuyasu is with Josuke and Koichi, reading JoJolion. Okuyasu tells Josuke not to ignore what he says. In reply, Josuke says that he's reading an article about "JoJo Exhibition", to which Okuyasu excitedly reacts to and urges Josuke to let him see. Afterwards, a magazine can be seen dropped on the ground as Josuke and Okuyasu converse.

In the second commercial, the same scenario in the beginning plays through. This time, Okuyasu snaps at Josuke to stop ignoring him.

In the third commercial, the same scenario in the beginning plays through, only this time it's now a snowy setting. Okuyasu snaps at Josuke to stop ignoring him, but Josuke shows Okuyasu a series of new Ultra Jump features, such as VS JOJO and JORGE JOESTAR. The magazine is dropped to the ground, near a colony of Harvest.

In the fourth commercial, Yoshikage Kira can be seen walking in the foreground as Okuyasu is reading JoJolion. The Hand appears behind Okuyasu as he snaps at Josuke not to ignore him again. Conversing via their Stands, Josuke tells Okuyasu that Araki is introducing a new art book: JOJOVELLER. Okuyasu exclaims the details of the new art book: a latest illustration collection, a history book, and a Stand dictionary. Afterwards, the magazine is dropped on the ground once again; this time, the magazine is heavier from Echoes' 3 Freeze.
