After each part of JoJo in which Joseph Joestar is involved, he is shown in the last panel with a Walkman, listening to The Beatles. In Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, Joseph listens to the song Get Back, the source of the JoJo namesake.

Trivia
- In the OVA, Joseph is shown listening to Gypsy Kings.
- His Walkman brand is Sony.
- Some of fansubs (such as Nutbladder) included a second audio track for the episode Joseph uses his walkman. In the second track, when Joseph close the walkman, "Get Back" Song starts playing.
